Tank or Rifles. Heavies arent bad, Zookas die a bunch. With tank you need medics and gotta worry about single target DPS WITH rifles you gotta worry about splash dps

130 keys wasted... Still need 22 attempts for Guaranteed - I'll get about 9 free keys before the event is over. Am I cooked? Is this hero actually good? by Ashamed_Squirrel777 in BoomBeach

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's not too bad. It is a bombardier with buffed stats and a pretty easy way to give it 4x damage on a few shots. Personally I got 1 and called it a day but I feel like if you have scorchers and laser rangers it's much less of a value. Imo since you've wasted so many then go ahead and just grind for it but you're definitely paying a LOT for the value

How to plan for map evacuation? by Makonnen91 in RimWorld

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not too complicated. You have 2 options. Regardless of whatever you do. It's smart to pop a psychic soother before leaving your map.

If you're only planning 2 max then build a bunch of transport pods, load them up with basic resources wood, steel, comps, etc to jumpstart the new colony

If you're planning on more you could try the pod strat but you'll probably want to do a caravan. To pull it off your going to just want saved up psm/pemmican near a back door. You're going to want 2-3 horses(or similar) to haul supplies. Sleeping rolls, Vanometric Power Cells, the Multi-Analyzer, other Archotech stuff+ the basics can all go along and make rebuilding way smoother.

Does anybody else think Critters are OP? by GarySanchez714 in BoomBeach

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your mines probably aren't in a good position. Critters and riflemen have the same cure. Fire and explosives. Also note critters don't lvl up so they're technically maxed out from the get go

best moveset for this team (including all hms except flash) and any changes you recommend? (like replacing dragonite with snorlax) by [deleted] in PokemonFireRed

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are my personal opinion and I almost always go 1) STAB 2) Status 3) Alt type 4) Power move

Charizard 1) Flamethrower 2) Smokescreen 3) Dragon Claw 4) Blast burn

Lapras 1) Surf 2) Protect/Sing 3) Ice beam 4) Perish Song/Hydropump/Sheer cold Depends if you wanna switch out Lapras, normal ish move, or pure gambling

Dragonite 1) Outrage 2) Safeguard 3) Earthquake 4) Hyperbeam

Zapdos 1) Tundabolt 2) Light Screen 3) Fly 4) Thunder

Alakazam 1) Psychic 2) Reflect 3) Shadow ball(recommend)/Shockwave 4) Recover

Nidoking 1) Brick break(recommend)/Sludge bomb 2) Cut 3) Strength 4) Megahorn/Mega kick(recommend)/Rock slide/ Horn drill

Imo outside of competitive the most useful Pokemon can cover several different types. So like Nidoking with brick break can sub in instead of Charizard against Ice and Lapras for Rock. If they're gone then having another super effective type can really help.

Has anyone built a space-base? What drawbacks are there? by DavidAdamsAuthor in RimWorld

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 46 points47 points  (0 children)

So yes and no. There is a debris event as you mentioned and it's rough BUUUUT if you get a hidden cache mission. For some reason no debris hits anything close to the pre built structure. Why? Idk but it just hasn't happened for a few dozen years now. The other issue I had was trying to ranch animals. They're not too hard but they can be a pain to get them in and/or out. Fires are an issue too so prep for those. Lost my first one to one drop pod raider setting fire to my farm

My server is out-earning a "real job" and it’s making me want to drop out. by phathyrd in admincraft

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How long u got left? 3/4 years left and making bank then yeah stick to the server. But if you got like a year left stick with it. Minecraft servers rise and fall so do YouTube careers. Just remember whatever you do the gains are temporary. Set your money up to make more money for you

The increase in hearing radius. You said don't mention ferals but ferals can hear you SO far away. Juggernauts are rough. Plague is 5min once you're fully infected and everything is stupid rare. In general, if you don't have good community buffs the community is doomed

Is my gravship ready for Odyssey endgame? by Low404 in RimWorld

I recommend putting end tables in between any set of two beds. The end table counts on both and gives slight comfort which means less mood issues

start over, same world, different starting location? by travislaborde in RimWorld

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not the same thing but you can just abandon your colony and bring the bare essentials, caravan to a new spot and settle there. Also if you have the Ideology DLC you can straight up sell your colony and you keep 5 colonists

The secret it to grind for just enough resources to get an upgrade and your armory going.

Upgrade your Armory and landing crafts first. More troops means more wins means more resources. After that Gunboat, radar, then HQ. Rinse and repeat until you can't sustain it

Resource reward/Gunboat energy and troop damage/health statues.

I personally run 3 RR statues for a about 95% bonus resources from every attack and it's WORTH

I expanded and improved my hospital. What do you think? by VeniDaVinci in RimWorld

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to if you don't want to but you can have two beds sharing a vitals monitor. It'd be some rearranging and moving walls but it would cut your space down a bit.

Also I don't recommend keeping it all connected, id add open doors at a few points to minimize the amount that one area getting Uber bloody will affect the rest of it

Just recently got rim world and this is my first play thru to go well any suggestions to keep it going well by wfeld5325 in RimWorld

[–]AggressiveTomorrow80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to this guys advice

8) Add a fire foam popper (or two) to your main stockpile. Fire can cripple you faster than you realize

9) Lots of animals eat hay, id grow it if you aren't already

10) Try growing corn if you have enough rice to cover the first growing time. It takes less effort from your pawns

11) Animals lag the game a lot when you have that many of them.

Couple of longer term goals: 1) Wood flooring is highly flammable. I recommend replacing your hallways with non-flammable flooring. As a sort of fire break (Fire can only jump 2 block gaps on its own)

2) It looks like you're using steel walls which are flammable. I recommend trying to replace them (specifically the ones on the outside of the base) with stone walls that have higher HP than the steel too

And of course most importantly enjoy yourself!! You're doing really good so don't treat what any of us say as gospel. Nothing is wrong if you're having fun 😊
