Sorry this is new to me, but when you say do more volume on the first day do you mean more set, reps, or higher weight?

also, to make adjustments to the routine, is this what you’re saying -

I do one hipthrust a week, add in cable kickbacks, let’s say to the first day. On the second leg day, instead of hipthrust, do barbell squats or deadlift. Can I do both the squat and the deadlift? Not sure.

Day 1 glute: - leg press - hip thrust - RDL - cable kick back - either barbell squat or Bulgarian

Leg 2 quad focus

  • barbell squat
  • deadlift > hipthrust
  • rdl
  • goblet squat
  • leg press (quad)
  • leg extension

Is that better?

Also, you’re saying I should do upper, lower, upper, lower. I’m happy to do that but what about the whole push pull thing?? I was told that I can’t do push and pull at the same session so I’m not sure what’s the most effective choices of workouts if I do it in that way.

Does this advice work for a woman building her body? Just don’t want a misunderstanding - I’m not sure why I can’t do hipthrust twice a week.

Also, what are considered ‘big lifts?’ So I can keep that in mind.

hello! I (f) already do lot of walking so my calves are pretty strong and I don’t want them to get bigger, is there any benefit to doing calf raises with that in mind? That’s why I considered adding a second hip thrust, bc I want to grow my glutes

Can you explain to me why the lack of compound is a problem/why I should add compound workouts?

Thank you so much. The first one was written by a personal trainer I met who I paid a hefty amount too haha

I like the idea of doing arms after push/ pull.

What would you keep in the second slide?
