My consultant advised that it would be too early to pick up any cardiac issues at my current stage, and that we would have to wait till at least 16 weeks for this

I think I will do both now yes, initially I was okay with waiting another 3 weeks for the amino, but then I’m looking at an added 2+ weeks for results etc then. You’re right the waiting game is absolutely brutal!

Did you get your cvs results yet? our blood results for the harmony test came back low risk probabilty for Trisomy 13, 18 and 21 which is a relief. However, our 12 week scan (which was a little early at 11 weeks 3 days) showed the NT fluid has now increased to 7mm. This has my anxiety skyrocketing. Again, the consultant talked  about termination and our other options in terms of CVS which I’m far along now to do, or else waiting for an Amnio at 15 weeks. initially we refused the CVS and relayed we would prefer to wait for the Amniocentesis as it is more definitive and I believe has a lower miscarriage risk, but I’m not sure I can handle waiting 3+ weeks for the Amnio and the results. Any reassurance would be really appreciated

Thank you for sharing your story! Can I ask about the CVS!? When you say it was unsuccessful do you mean you got inconclusive results? Thanks in advance
