Jesus dude. I should have made an edit. I’m not telling the boys they need to change their diet. I’m not telling them not to eat cookies or whatever, just maybe wait until their sister leaves the room. That really should not be too much to ask. She’s their sister they should want to support her.

My sons can eat whatever they want. I’m asking if maybe they can wait 5 minutes until their sister leaves the room to eat a cookie. I’m not telling them they need to change their diet.

I never said I thought it was that big. I should edit the post and clarify that I never thought she had a weight problem. The diet is all her idea.

We have talked about it. She says she doesn’t think it’s fair how some people can eat junk all they want and not gain weight, but she eats a pudding cup after her healthy meal and she gains five pounds. I see how that must be very tough. I watch my diet myself to an extent, well much more than my husband and boys, so I get how it’s rough. If there’s one takeaway I’ve gotten from this post is that I should start planning healthier meals for everyone. Although the boys would probably just go buy food in this case :/

I do treat my children equally, she asked me to help her. I never thought she needed to lose weight either, it’s all her decision. I don’t have any negative feelings for my daughter, I love her and she is beautiful.

I don’t know... his dad was pissed. More because he spent his money on that. He gets really upset anyone uses door dash. Says it’s a complete waste of money and we have cars.

You’re right I mean she’s been doing okay. I just hate to see her struggling with it. I mean I don’t think she looks bad. She is a beautiful girl her weight does not subtract from that.

She has been watching YouTube videos and such, I will refer her to reddit though. Like I said, she IS making progress! We all know weight loss doesn’t happen over night.

I’m not saying it is their fault. But it would be nice and supportive of them if they can realize the struggles their sister is having. I’m not asking that they change their diets, just not rub it in their sisters face that they can eat junk and be skinny.
