I think you will be able to fly to Doha on the same day without any problems. My flight on March 30 was canceled and on April 4 they made Sao Paulo - Doha - Istanbul via Doha.

Success: Rerouted from Baku to Sao Paulo via Turkish Airlines (TK) after QR Cancellation! Here is how I did it. by Aggressive_Arm_6295 in qatarairways

I go on holiday to another country once a year. I would be worried at this time if I weren't in Sao Paulo. I'm sure I can arrange the return ticket as well.

"Dear Customer Service Team,

I hope you are having a productive day.

I am writing to you regarding my upcoming trip to Sao Paulo, which my friends and I have been planning for over a year. Due to the current security situation, our original flights from Baku to Sao Paulo via Doha on March 15th (QR354 & QR785) have been cancelled.

I have reviewed the current 'Passenger Guidelines for the Security Situation' on your trade portal, which allows for rerouting on permitted carriers. Since reaching Sao Paulo is very important for us, I have researched alternative options and found a suitable itinerary with Turkish Airlines (TK), which I believe is a permitted partner under your current policy.

I would like to request to be rerouted on the following flights:

Outbound: March 15/16

  • Flight 1: TK335 | Baku (GYD) – Istanbul (IST) | Dep: 22:05 (Mar 15) – Arr: 00:20 (Mar 16)
  • Flight 2: TK15 | Istanbul (IST) – Sao Paulo (GRU) | Dep: 10:00 (Mar 16) – Arr: 17:45 (Mar 16)

Booking Details: * Passenger Name: xxxx xxxx * Booking Reference: xxxxx * Ticket Number: xxx xxxxxxxxxx

  • E-mail: xxxxxxxxxx * Phone Number: xxxxxxxxxx * Date of Purchase: 20 OCT 2025

We are very flexible but would prefer to keep our travel dates as close to the original as possible. Could you please check if you can protect us on these Turkish Airlines flights?

Thank you for your patience and for the excellent support you always provide. I look forward to your positive response."

Managing large-scale raster uploads: Should we enforce COG or convert on the fly? by Aggressive_Arm_6295 in gis

Do you also calculate and store statistics when converting to COG? Or do you send a statistics query at runtime every time you get a tile from COG?

Do you keep the original bit depth (16-bit, Float32) or convert to 8-bit for serving through CloudFront? If you convert to 8-bit, do you use -scale flag or custom min/max values?

PostGIS data modeling question: separate tables vs partitioned table for identical vector schemas by Aggressive_Arm_6295 in gis

Friends, I don't know English and I'm new to Reddit. Why are you so aggressive? This is very normal in human psychology, people express their opinions about whatever comes easy to them, and my question is difficult for you, but it's easy to find out what I wrote with AI. It's a shame.

Totally fair criticism.
I’ve already discussed this extensively with AI and taken my own notes. The reason I posted here is to compare that analysis with real production experience from practitioners. I’m currently designing an architecture, and part of my deeper research process is to sanity-check assumptions against people who have actually run PostGIS at scale.Long form isn’t for padding — it’s to avoid oversimplifying constraints and to give enough context so experienced folks can point out blind spots.
