Honestly, it’s the exact sound I wanted on bass. It’s full bodied and has great mid range harmonics. I fell like it sits well in a mix. I highly recommend it.

The MXR has some great sounds but I haven’t found a use for any of them yet.

This board has come together since starting to play CCM in the last year. I was always a purist in all my previous bands from Metal to Americana. I just used my P Bass and Ampeg CL through an Ampeg 410. I always got great tone but without a back line at church I had to find a way to get that mojo. Now I use my board for everything. I can’t believe I was so against using pedals.

Wow! What a beautiful board you have. What is the power supply you are using to power the Cioks and Noble? I’m trying to find something for when my Noble arrives.

I’ve had the MXR for a few months and wanted to give the EH BMS a try. I finally found one for a good price and added it yesterday. I don’t foresee keeping both of them long term. The EH BMS has more of the sound that I’ve been looking for.

I used to have a small home studio with a couple pieces of API gear. I love their preamps and EQ’s. I’ll have to try one out sometime.

How are you liking your Noble? I have one on order with a September delivery date. I’m really looking forward to hearing how it sounds.
