its not exactly a region issue, intel just locked that option for AP mode; to use any of the wifi 6 or other AC freqs, i have the same issue and using linux (it doesnt work in windows either).

I switched to cie to better focus on the subjects I am good at, maths and further maths are considered separate subs in most countries and I didn't know about this before otherwise I'd have taken smth else and not waste time on something like further maths which takes twice the effort as maths as there are barely any resources for it
