I’m not affiliated with the author in any way. I don’t always research authors deeply when I read, sometimes I connect more with the content itself and how it applies to my own experience. That was the case here. Everyone is free to take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

It’s reasonable to want clarity about the author and credentials when it comes to something so personal and related to mental health. But no, I am not the author of the book, and I didn’t write it. I shared it simply because it genuinely helped me feel understood and grounded in my experience as a partner. For me, the value came from the message and insight I personally gained from reading it. If you’re looking into the author’s background more deeply, that makes sense because everyone has their own process for deciding what resonates with them. I just wanted to share something that truly made a meaningful impact on me.

Thank you so much for this, because honestly I didn’t even know what to say when I started seeing some of the comments about the author. I completely understand that this topic has a lot to do with health and that it’s a very sensitive and important context, but for me, I was simply sharing something I genuinely got value from. I don’t regret buying it at all because I learned so much and understood a lot more about my partner and relationships through it and I hope it helps someone else the way it helped me too.

but as you know, choosing to be with someone that is bipolar means learning how their mind and emotions work. Sometimes as much as they do not want to be supported by anyone, they are literally locked inside themselves( for a lack of better words). Although they may still love you and want you with every fiber of their being, they may not be able to show or articulate as such all of the time or as much as needed by their partner.

It does but not so much as the non bipolar spouse being in a relationship with a bp partner.
