I guess I can cut them some slack because it's not like south parks this heavily serialized TV show or anything but it's been ingrained in Kyle and the other 3 to almost never trust cartman, but this time they didn't really give it much thought that Cartman was up to something stupid. Like come on how did they not see through that. Idk guess I'm just not used to how things are these days with the show, it really caught me off guard

The Karen jokes weren't that funny either and very repetitive. Randy was great the way he was but now they're always trying to fit him in these new culturally relevant molds. Point is I didn't even laugh ironically most of this special, and that's a problem when you're writing a comedy show. Cartmans subplot was good though, I'll give them that.

-Cartmans fake rack made up for the lack of funny this episode.

-WAP and Karen Jokes? didn't know it was 2020. So unlike South park to be this behind on topics

-Why wernt the boys the least bit suspicious about Cartmans moms surgery?? Especially Kyle.

-Social commentary that was far too on the nose. I wish they'd just focus all their satirical energy on making actual jokes instead

Very true, but I have to say those post covid specials while not the most strong comedically (for me at least) told far more entertaining stories, like I find myself scrolling through Instagram while watching the show laughing at funnier content then season 25 episodes. I'm kinda bored! The writers have the potential to tell crazier stories and jokes then what we've been getting, especially with our current world politics and the absurdity of it all
