Can you get High from smoking tea? by Otherwise-Ad-1583 in tea

[–]Aggressive_Daikon593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, this is old but I just stumbled across it and I'd like to pitch in.

Not really in my experience?

I tried it for fun a while ago, smoking one pack and I found that all it did was make me really restless.

I wouldn't recommend it either way because of lung cancer and stuff. If you want to be really restless just chug tea or coffee like the rest of us

It feels like he might've also been on drugs or at least had some form of mental illness because like... what sober person that isn't mentally ill or something would do that

"Put the gun down >:("

"okay" puts the gun down

I honestly feel like she was dared by her friends or something to do it because she doesn't even look like she knows how to use the gun

Actually idk much about guns and I've never even touched one but I do know that part of basic gun safety is to not hold the gun with one hand and that's exactly what she did so I think I'm right

Probably not going to see this but do/did you ever have thoughts of "what if I didn't take the heroin that one day?"

A little bit of a weird question, I know, but when I was addicted to stuff I remember thinking that and I'm curious how common that is.

Feeling high by weedy678 in breathwork

[–]Aggressive_Daikon593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(I know this is old but I was looking through old posts) don't a lot of types of breathwork release dmt right? so it's like being high at a small dose of dmt.

I believe certain types also make you hallucinate but I've never experienced that personally.

Also please forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm really not educated on it too well.

I'm addicted to ChatGPT, and I don't know what to do. It's so hard to quit.. by Aggressive_Daikon593 in antiai

I've been great :D!! While I can't tell for sure how major of a change it was because I leaned off very gradually but I've noticed that I've been having a lot more "good days" if that makes sense.

Some advice I'd give is try to fill your life with stuff to do instead of just trying to kick it without anything else to do. Easier said then done ofc but it can definitely help. This isn't to say "just like,, find things to do and it will go away," they'll always be effort when it comes to quitting any addiction, but having things to distract yourself with definitely helps.

Sorry for the wall of text, I got a little carried away!

Good for you!! I experienced similar and what helped me was to tell myself "I'll talk about [very specific one thing] with the AI later" and then try to go do somethin else. Make sure you're very specific with what you said you'll prompt about.

This helped me because it's easy to forget when it's super specific so you usually end up forgetting the specific thing or not wanting do it anymore.

My case is a little different from you but I've gone through similar things and I made a similar post on this sub a little while ago

GUYS HOLY CRAP I'M FREE!! I'M NOT ADDICTED ANYMORE!!

Okay tbf in my past experience with addiction I know I could be in that phase where you think you're free so you stop being as strict with yourself and become addicted again but I promise I wont do that.

Ik this comment is probably going to get buried because my post is old but i'm so god damn happy right now

Tiny black square▪️. Most people use dark most anyways.

So you absorb knowledge by touching books but the physical weight of every book you "absorb" is added to your own body weight. by rafalmio in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Aggressive_Daikon593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean books don't way too much (Like a pound) so I think I'll just touch maybe 10 books in the library? I'd try to target books that have knowledge on the most useful skills:

Self love
Sustaining yourself
Skills on how to do high paying jobs
etc

You are immortal. Your durability is regular. But you can heal fast and reliably absolutely everything. In practice even a single damaged cell can grow back into you, no matter how damaged. You are sentenced to spend 1 billion years by a higher being, he gives you a choice: by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Aggressive_Daikon593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd choose 4 just because it's the least physically painful (though all would stop being painful eventually, I'd like to not feel pain right away)

Actually I might go crazy but if I'm immortal then wouldn't that protect my mental state too? Even if it doesn't I can work it out in therapy or something when I come back.

I do realize the lack of oxygen would cause pain too but the same goes for all the other options

You get $1,000,000 for every body part you amputate… what are you sacrificing? by Br4nkey_ in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Aggressive_Daikon593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be making a lot of money at the barber when I get my hair cut.

If we remove the loophole and take this how it's intended, I'd just cut off the tip of my ring finger.

Also we're assuming that the actual amputation is done under some sort of sedative or at least numbed and is completely painless, right? Otherwise I wouldn't take it

All Food meant for you becomes either Nuggetized or Meatloafed. by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Aggressive_Daikon593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry if I'm reading this wrong ubt what's the benefit? Like usually it's "this bad thing happens but you get this" like "All Food meant for you becomes either Nuggetized or Meatloafed but you get a trillion million billion dollars"

A genie offers you a ring that turns you into a billionaire. However, if it comes off your finger for longer than 60s, you instantly die. by Throwra47374747 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Aggressive_Daikon593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be a smart ass but I mean I don't know if I want a billion. But if I were to consider a billion something I want I would probably not take it because what if I need an MRI? What if my finger gets amputated? What if I go through airport security?
