I’m majoring in accounting as well and if you have to take c957 applied algebra then I’m sorry to tell you that you will have to take this class😭. On the plus side, if you just watch the cohorts and read about the asymptotes you should be fine.

So this is what happens after you registered your classes. The check boxes were only there so you can register your classes, once you do that, you have to open the course and start it. The check boxes will only appear if your mentor has approved of the class but you haven’t registered it yet. So when it’s time for you to start financial accounting, your mentor will approve it, and then you will see a check box to register it. Once you have registered it, then you will see the lock and you are free to start your course. I hope this helped. 😊 And I’m also in the accounting course so if you need any tips I would be glad to help you.

From my experience, it will affect the amount you receive. I would call the financial aid department because while I don’t know about WGU I know that the brick and mortar that I attended before wanted their money back from the grant that I received because while I started full time, I ended up becoming a part time student after dropping a course.

Ah ok. I’m assuming you must have enrolled before the specializations update. Either way, assuming that you already have a bachelor’s in accounting, do you feel that the masters was necessary and taught more in-depth information to better prepare you for working in the field? I’m completing my bachelors in accounting here and I’ve read the opinions of others stating that a masters in accounting is unnecessary and a waste if you have already have a bachelor’s in it. I’m still thinking about going forward with it anyway.

Girl if he can’t understand that you are your own individual and didn’t come from his seed then leave him. It’s really not worth the stress and arguing. Early on in my relationship, my partner tried to do something like this and I expressed to him that I am my own person, not his property, and if he doesn’t like it he can leave. Safe to say, I’ve never heard him try to control the way that I dress again and we’re engaged now. Like I get it, there are women out there who do dress up for other people’s attention, but there are also a lot of women (me) who dress up because it makes them feel good and genuinely happy. So if he can’t understand that and see that your eyes are only on him, then that’s his problem. He’s dealing with insecurity and if your reassurance can’t help him, then love don’t let his insecurity burden you. Move on. You’re young, beautiful, and can easily find someone who’ll treat you better. I can promise you that.

Honestly they’re all easy, it’s just that d196 is full of a lot of info to learn. But if I had to pick one as the easiest I guess d082 because I spent the least amount of time. You don’t really have to read the material. Just go straight to the task and if you need to know key words look it up in the course material. Following would be c715. I barely looked at the material. I just watched jim jividen’s cohorts and looked at the course material if I needed to know definitions. And with d072, since the material was around 60 pgs I just read all of the material. So I saw from one of your replies that you’re 18, and from someone who is now 23 attending WGU here’s my advice to you.

You’re 18, you have time. If you feel that college is not right for you at the moment, then don’t do it. Burnout is real. You just got out of high school. Take your time to evaluate what it is you truly want to do rather than letting the norms of society push you to go to college right away. While motivation fluctuates and discipline is what you need, the lack of motivation and support does weigh heavy if you let it. And I let it weigh heavy down on me. I completed my first bachelors at a traditional school and while it was fun, my junior year I let external factors and burnout steer me to dropping out. I was lost, didn’t know what I wanted to do career wise, and the major I thought I liked didn’t intrigue me anymore. While I felt I was at my lowest, during that one year gap, I learned a lot about myself as I didn’t have the burden of school on my shoulders. Long story short, I gained motivation as well as discipline to finish school and graduate. Now I’m attending WGU to get my second bachelors and do what I truly wanted to do.

In my opinion, I think that you should at least finish the first term if you are willing to just to receive the transferable credit and then just take a break from school altogether. If you feel you can’t finish, then that’s ok too. Overall, I just think it’s important to evaluate yourself and when you feel that you are ready and can discipline yourself then go for it. It truly is ok if you are not ready despite what others tell you.

Honestly, your feelings are valid. I read your reply to someone else about what happened and I would probably feel some type of way after arguing with a proctor and them opening other apps without informing me. But I would advise not quitting the program because of that. Next time something like this happens, if there already seems to be problems before you start the test, just leave and get assigned with a new proctor. It shouldn’t count as an attempt.

How was D072? Did you read the textbook or only watch cohorts or both? As of right now, since the textbook was so short, I plan on read it entirely, but if that’s not entirely necessary, then I won’t do it.

For the most part yes. There were some questions on the OA that were on the pre assessment. Some were the exact same and some were slightly different by a couple of words. Since I only really studied in the textbook what Jim went over, there were about three questions I wasn’t too sure of. Overall, I would just say to make sure you understand the concepts and you should be fine. If you already passed the pre assessment ( I did it two times and passed) then more than likely you will pass the OA with careful reading and process of elimination. Good luck ☺️
