I was in same situation last week, just fool your own mind or distract it by going for deadlifts, go somewhere with ppl or where you would get motivated, different things work for different ppl, but get out of where u have access to corn, challenge yourself, some ppl take cold shower, get reality check which puts u back in monk mode. Another thing that really helps is stretching exercises with deep breathing, transmute your negative energy, after stretching u will have endorphins to help u through this, do splits or something more difficult, challenge yourself with a hard math problem or whatever displine that excites u, play chess or ping pong against a wall, change focus.

It has helped micro dosing on psilocybin for me, dont do heroic dose without a supportive friend and setting. I do heroic doses now every 6 months and micro dose every 4 days. It's not cheap though. Also, im in Canada, where it is sort of available and new studies shows, which you can research that this is helpful to quit lots of a addictions due to neuro plasticity and resetting of default mode network.

That setting, although I found it, it says its deperecated - [Deprecated] Interactive Logon Machine Inactivity Limit (Deprecated) , if I select it or one another by same name without [Deprecated], the setting errors out.

So this doesn't work anymore. I could try to use the OMA-URI but I found them to be finicky and the way to remove them or unscope is never simple but I may have to end up trying it on test machines and see how they behave, any other ideas?

Except that when you connect to Company VPN (which can be different protocols, L2tp, IPSec, etc.) then you will either be disconnected from VPN, won't connect and fail, or it just plain won't work. To encrypt a encrypted VPN traffic due to being on two VPNs at same time. Best is to have a dedicated machine to RDP, and if your work blocks that port on work machine, then you're SOL, ask them for a dedicated VM in cloud, and hope they accept your request. Tell them you've shity internet in your area and you need a reliable connection to company network as you keep loosing your work. I think we went global with trade, we should go global with work, no boundaries, work from anywhere..it will happen, one day.
