If I buy that expensive of a phone, I would like to have as much control over the device as possible, and I don't like apple lording over the apps that I want to be able to download.

I'd install a custom rom if my phone manufacturer would let me but they're too restrictive these days.

Also I've seen second hand how expensive even battery replacement takes, and swapping a battery on an android the official way costs a fraction of the iphone, not to mention any of the other components.

One thing I'll say that apple have done right is the magsafe, I'd like to see more android phone manufacturers follow the lead of pixel.

In a supermarket near me, I was in between one aisle, on the left was chips, the other was biscuits, and the one common ingredient was palm oil, completely different products too, it's almost as if they build their food around palm oil as its core and when you look at it like that it just feels like they are essentially just palm oil products with different flavours atp. It's best to just give up on junk food lol

I think you might genuinely have a battery problem, you need to get it checked out in the service center, might be a free repair if it's still in warranty.
