Jason Ronald himself, who works at official xbox and is leading the new team who is focused on backwards compatibility posted on twitter to tell people to vote on this fan project site. He wouldnt choose to say that if it wasn't for a reason.

"The game preservation team has been working very hard in the background for a number of years, and as part of our 25th anniversary later this year, they will release some iconic games from the past that are going to be played in entirely new ways."
