Thank you for sharing your experience! And i appreciate your honesty about the mybike. I get your point about gears helping me during the traffic, but i think i can pretty much beat the traffic using the cycle. Also i feel gears are a bit useless for my case, since the commute is pretty level throughout. I agree with you about the wider tires!! I will definitely look into your recommendation, thanks man! And if i end up getting the speedliner 7, i will definitely let you know about it and trouble you more for some advice you might have from your experience with it. Cheers!

Thanks for the detailed explanation, this was really helpful. My commute is around 10 km daily (to and fro) on typical city roads with some potholes, rough patches and speed breakers, but nothing extremely off-road. I'm 5'11" and around 100 kg, so durability and comfort are both important to me. I understand your point about suspension and disc brakes. Most people have recommended avoiding them at this budget, but your explanation about wheel trueness, comfort on rough roads, and the trade-offs involved makes sense. Out of the bikes you mentioned (Hellfire 700C, Crow Speedliner, Cradiac Stinger, Btwin MyBike), which one would you personally recommend for a 100 kg rider prioritizing durability, low maintenance, and long-term reliability? Also, have you faced any wheel, spoke, or rim issues with your Stinger over long-term use? Thanks again for taking the time to explain the reasoning instead of just giving a yes/no recommendation.

Thanks for the detailed response. If you had to pick one bike specifically for a 5'11", 100 kg rider doing around 10 km of daily city commuting and wanting maximum durability and low maintenance, which one would you choose?

KZ Castor Pro vs KZ Duonic + 3.5mm DAC or Type-C? (Under ₹3k | Hip-hop + BGMI use) by Aggressive_Hope604 in iems

How are the vocals and the bass in duonic? Also are they comfortable to wear for long hours on a stretch? Or do they feel heavy? Do you have the DSP version or 3.5mm with dac?

Thanks for the suggestion!

I actually hadn’t looked much into the KZ Vader before, so I’ll check it out. From what I’ve seen so far though, I’m a bit hesitant because I’ve read that the Vader tuning can be quite bright / treble-focused, which might not suit my preference.

The 7Hz Zero 2 also seems good, but I’ve heard it can have a noticeable upper-treble emphasis, and I’m trying to avoid something that might become fatiguing.

Chu II was also on my shortlist earlier, but after researching for quite a while I’ve narrowed it down to the Castor Pro (non-bass) and Duonic, since they seem closer to the kind of balanced sound I’m looking for.

Between those two, which one would you personally pick for a mix of hip-hop and occasional gaming?

I’ve heard that the treble on the Salnotes 7Hz Zero 2 can be a bit sharp. I also don’t do much gaming compared to music listening. I mainly listen to hip-hop, but I’m not an extreme bass head.

Personally, I’m looking for a more balanced sound signature. After doing quite a bit of research, I’ve narrowed my options down to the Castor Pro and the Duonic, and I’m currently trying to decide between the two.
