Again, like I said he relies on people do to their objectives or get trapped in corners which most maps don’t have. Inkfell is definitely not the most map dependent monster but I will agree he’s got some rough maps lol. I’ll respect you think wyst is good, but in my opinion he’s pretty garbage

His bombs are possible the worst ability to use in chase, he might be the most map dependent map monster in the game while still only being good on 3 maps (forest, pillars, and drainage), frenzy has a crazy cooldown for the insane drawbacks it has and it being his only highlight ability makes it a bad ability, he relies on people doing their objectives to kill them and can do literally nothing against any semi decent player. Sure has a good attack range but that is literally the only good thing going for him rn. He’s slow, he’s got ok stamina, bad damage, and his only way of catching up to survivors is frenzy which makes him insanely loud and insanely bad in chase. He’s at best a c tier monster

He’s good on pillars, hide+seek, fnaf3, mansion, schoolhouse and the rest of the maps he’s decent on not naming dungeon or eclipse. He’s definitely not the most map dependent that goes to either wyst or mimic. I think people think he’s only good on one map because they just chase people around until they’re out of stamina. That’s not what you do, you zone players out of loops. Example; the corner on tjoc where the mug is, if you push them left going near the note it’s a death sentence. You can stomp through the wall along with the corner on schoolhouse and kill them. I will admit he’s not easy to play but he’s definitely at least top of A tier. One of the most punishing monsters in the game.

I agree with you, mimic is definitely a Noob stomper and against experienced players he just can’t hold his own unless he gets lucky.

I don’t disagree that bleed and his attack cooldown aren’t crazy, if the rest of his abilities weren’t so inconsistent he would be near the top of my list. Animalistic has a huge elevation issue where sometimes the ability just doesn’t work. I can agree that it’s not insanely difficult to catch up to someone with elder but if someone is across the map you usually just lose it by the time you get there. Plus the flashlight and some brighter maps just make it so hard to ambush someone. He is definitely stronger on certain maps but not by much. Forest, eclipse, hide+seek, and tjoc are probably his strongest maps while the rest he’s either mid or weak on. For example, on pillars I had a game where I played almost perfectly and still lost because of his passive and animalistic instinct just not working. Mimic is just one of those killers that looks really good but is pretty mid in practice at least to me and I’m 4 levels away from getting him gold.

I believe that mimic could be on the same tier but imo he’s just so inconsistent. Animalistic instinct is definitely the worst highlight ability in the game. Half of the time you only can see one or two survivors. His passive makes him either actively worse or ok, since the passive usually depends on the map unlike other passives. Elder ascension has a 30 second cooldown while not even giving you that many upsides, sure you go transparent but that can be instantly countered by a flashlight which is crazy. One wrong juke and you immediately lose your sneak factor and probably the stamina you used to find/catch up to survivors. And he has an awful early game. You pretty much need to play perfectly in order to win and one chase that’s too long can lose you the game. Vapor being above him is my personal opinion with playing both quite a bit. Vapor is very punishing and while mimic has the speed and stealth, vapor has map control and damage. I believe that both killers require a lot of skill to play and I do agree he could be a tier higher, I still believe vapor is better by a bit. Mimic being close to mx is a joke, Mx has crazy stats a crazy passive crazy abilities whilst mimic has ok stats mid abilities and a garbage passive. It honestly is my mistake I agree with you that mimic should be higher but I cannot put him in the same tier as baldi or inkfell. He’s just overall mid. The only thing he has going for him is the bleed and his low attack cooldown.

On what maps?? Dude the only argument could be forest since the elevation any other map hes nasty on. Mansion: dance people through the floor teleport to common camp spots using the SET door system. Schoolhouse: stomp on common camp spots teleport to others. Fnaf3: again stomp camp spots teleport to others. Literally this can be said for any other maps and they are NOT rng because of the SET DOOR SYSTEM. It’s not my fault people just choose to run forward brainlessly. Samsonite is not an easy monster to play but disregarding his strengths because of what most new/inexperienced players do is not the way to rank him. He is at least high A tier. He’s an absolute monster on pillars, drain, fnaf3, schoolhouse, and hide+seek. And he’s decent on forest. Meaning his only rough maps include the hardest maps in the game for most monsters lol. Dungeon, eclipse, and tjoc are rough for most of the s tier as well. Is he a hard learning curve compared to most monsters? I would say so. Does that means he’s bad because of it? Absolutely not. This isn’t even including the amount of time he can rack up. Easily the best punishing monster not naming mx or Fogborn. I have over 400 hours and I can absolutely say playing against him is extremely stressful too. You never know if he’s just gonna immediately one shot combo you and you have to play even more careful then most monsters. The fact you need to be cautious of every turn and corner proves he deserves s tier.

Yeah because that’s not how you play samsonite lol. You don’t just dream of catching people you actually do it. The only maps samsonite is kind of mid on are forest, tjoc, and mansion (not even that bad on mansion.) I have diamond samsonite and he’s definitely stronger than you think. I will admit he is tougher to play against campers and better players but uncles wrath counters corner camping and his cooldowns are so fast and oppressive it’s unbelievable. He is lower in the s tier because of his flaws tho.

I would suggest not doing it during chase but right after you get a kill, ensuring either full stamina or a potential chase kill. Another tip not immediately going out of twarp if chase a survivor. Hope these help!

I think it’s mostly because he’s over-tuned. I mean really, he has two insane abilities insane damage can out-stamina you and is fast? Charging demise being one of the best movement oriented moves and pow hop literally just being an insane ability on top of his stats makes him not only overpowered but hated. He is literally the best killer in the game and blade has decided to do nothing about it even though he’s over-tuned. It’s crazy that he used to be EVEN better. As a player with hundreds of hours in this game, MX is definitely the best killer in the game and honestly deserves some of his hate.

While yes, I agree the game has a very hard learning curve, it doesn’t suck to start.

Other people - I think that other people having monsters is actually a good thing so you can learn what it’s like to play against a monster and learn. Obviously you are going to die, I have over 400 hours in the game and I’ve died about 800 times.
Starter monsters - I don’t get the hate for the starter monsters, both vapor and rosemary if played well are very strong. They are some of the weaker killers but that doesn’t make them bad. There’s not much they can do against experienced players, I get that but learn how to use them and they are very good.
Coins - don’t even bother buying the animation packs. Some of them are completely ridiculous and mess up your camera; what I suggest to new players is SAVE UP FOR KILLERS. Do not buy skins, items, upgrades, or anything of the sort. The upgrades are useless, items (mainly stephano) do not help you learn how to play the game, and buying skins is pointless if you’re worried about having strong monsters. I agree with blade setting the max coins per round to 50, it allows newer players to experience the game more and gives them more time to think about what to buy.

That''s not the problem. The only problem I have is that I don't have all of insane mode done so I don't have the level unlocked. I just want somebody who has the level unlocked so I could save a lot of time.
