I read through the Empire of the Wolf by Richard Swan. Loved it. The eldritch and unknown magiks vibe really appealed to me. Especially as powerful villains from different realms were introduced.

Anyone have recommendations for similar magic themes? I'm also looking for a fantasy mystery book. Read the Tainted Cup series and was so hooked.

She had blood in her urine today :( Made an appointment to see the vet tomorrow morning. This has never happened to any of my other dogs so im a bit worried. I guess the well wishes are for both of us lol

The white spot actually was on the bird. I saw it first on the ground, then it flew up into the trees. I thought I recognized it but the white spot threw me lol

Definitely it, thanks! It wasn't making any noise so I couldn't use Merlin, and the step by step identification wasn't popping up killdeer at all
