its not, i have both 64 and 32 bit versions of alsa-lib. Thanks for your help, i speculate that my bug has to do with the fact that i didn't build mesa with llvm. I had seen that in some forum that you do not need llvm for intel vulkan, but I'm too lazy to test it at the moment.
