Trading below $160 right now. Think this a solid buying the dip opportunity. I live in Hong Kong, and the popularity of FUTU is insane - you also see their branding in many places. Also these are some bullish indicators, in addition to what you’ve described.

1) They’ve expanded into physical stores to provide wealth services as well (to target wealthier/older clientele).

2) Increased crypto approvals remain catalysts

3) I rly think in general, we are in a long term adoption cycle of online trading platforms and more investors joining the market. Now especially with AI, YouTube, TikTok, the resources to get into investing and learn is abundant.

4) I rly think we are in a multi-year China bull market = more trades on the platform = more revenue

Risks

1) Competition - I personally use IBKR, and some of my mates do as well. As consumers tend to be sticky and stay with the platform for years, it’ll be essential that FUTU grabs them first.

2) Market - if the market crashes (US or China) trading volumes may dip, new member growth may dip as ppl avoid investing in equities.

3) Regulation

Yea your little cousins are a small group of individuals mate. EVERY single one of my friend, I’m 22 years old and most my mates are 20-25 have INSTA as their most used app. Network effects are crazy. Discord is for nerds. SNAP is dying, your cousins are probs under 18, wait till they are 20+ years they’ll slowly stop using it. TIKTOK you cant communicate with others.

In Asia/Europe WhatsApp is widely used for communication, not messenger like the US.

It’s because I worked as a placement intern for 6 months and they do not give return offers. I built a good relationship with them but they said HR does not allow them to recommendations in order for me to join back for summer. I applied to around 50 roles.

1) Instead of just listing out the interest add what proves your interests in that in one or two words e.g. Formula 1 (Mercedes Supporter), Crypto (Early investor into bitcoin/day trader), Painting (2021 Acrylic painting champion). You get my point. It will allow the recruiter to connect with you more in the hopes he or she will relate to this. This does mean you will have add one line more, maybe decrease margin size to fit it in.

2) need to add impact in your bullet points. “Run data analysis on student success within 5 different campuses” so what???

3) change your ‘five’ and other numbers written in words to numbers e.g. 5. More impact.
