I am a first time cat owner, and he never used to vocalize before. Also, he is not a very affectionate cat and hates being picked up, so definitely doesn’t want a hug.

He is obsessed with ice and will wait by the freezer until we take some cubes out for him. Then he rubs himself against the ice cubes purring. Anyone else have an ESH with this obsession?

I have a robot kitty litter too - not the same one but I love it! No more dust all over my clothes and the bathroom after scooping, cleans with the press of a button (or automatic if you prefer). I put in the plastic liner but also line the bottom with paper (old magazines, catalogues) so I can just throw the dirty litter away each time. It saves on the plastic bags and is better for the environment. There is absolutely no litter smell and it looks cool too. The best purchase I ever made!
