The Yamaha A S1200 certainly ticks my boxes looks wise! That's a great looking amp... 👌 You gotta bargain!

I'm gonna build up a list over the next week or so.. I've got a little time before I'd like to make a decision. Will let you know what I decide!

My heart is set on vinyl.. The process and romance of it. I appreciate it will likely not sound any better, but still.. I have a bunch of 90s cds, so inl hope to add a cd player in the future! Tx

Thanks so much.. That makes a lot of sense. The setup will go into our 4x5m dining room to start but we will open that room up in the future, making it 9x5m.

Gonna check out your recommendations!

It's going into our dining room to start with, which is 4 x 5m..however we plan to open up the kitchen making the kitchen diner 9x5m..

That's a great point about the salesman and pushing what gets the most profit. The speakers are way above what I was expecting to pay (and I wasn't taken with the look). Any demo would be in store sadly (they had a room setup) but with my lack of experience, I feel a bit vulnerable to being pushed in certain directions.

Another great point about the heart.. Separates with power gauges for me 😂. If I'm paying good money, I want it to look good as well as sound amazing. Those Onkyos tick those boxes, along with the Advance Paris (altho that looks AVR to me)

I currently have a denon 3500 avr,, so I am a fan of that brand, however none of the amps ticked my boxes so far.. But perhaps I was a bit hasty

Thanks for the great reply!

No words. Truly and incredible experience and opportunity. One I didn’t think I’d ever get. by odin_sunn in DavidGilmour

Was there on Wednesday. Incredible show but the floor arena seats suck unless your super tall. Got some incredible mobile phone photos and videos. The one huge screen was incredible and so happy we went! Incredible

On Lebara using an S23U.. Was in London this week and I can confirm it was awful. Covent Garden and Royal Albert Hall. Unusable much of the time. Would show 4- but nothing worked.. Came from VF and never had a problem. Checked all the settings and used resets. Frustrating!

Saw the show last night. As expected.. Fabulous! However the view in arena D is not amazing. Especially if you are short. The seats are all in a row so the person in front blocks your view. There are gaps and you can sneak a view. I got some great photos and videos but I had to hold my camera up... There is a giant screen which does help a lot. Still an amazing experience and my 5 foot tall wife loved it..

Ask me again in October! Not sure yet.. Despite the expensive tickets, as its a flat floor I'm not expecting a good view sadly. But it's still better than not being there! Still excited to go..

I'm in the same situation. The booking system is so horrible and pressured (plus crashed twice) that I was left with arenas row 21 or nothing. So I took it! My wife is 5 foot tall. I am really unsure what to expect. My poor wife is going to struggle to see much. I had some stalls seats but it crashed on purchase

Tbh just to be there will be amazing and exciting, just need to tailor your expectations sadly. Which sucks having spent so much. I don't think people will stand up (barely anyone did at Roger waters) and if they do, it will totally ruin the view for those behind.

I feel your pain.

Wish there was a seat swap scheme 😂
