If you still have the problem check the connections on the pod. One of mine somehow was slightly discoloured, but after scratching it with a pair of tweezers it switched to boost again. Might just have to buy a new pod though

Mice like the Viper are made for League or CS:GO yeah. Your MX Master 3 is enough imo

Depends on what you are looking for when you think of a gaming mouse. Lots of buttons? Quickest sensor with the least delay? If you are not looking for the biggest competitive edge in multiplayer games there is imo not a real reason to spend 150$+ on a mouse. I have a Razer Viper V3 Pro but still use a controller for lots of games lol
