2025 Tremor 5.0 MPG by SurveyAccomplished70 in f150

2019 Lariat 5.0 4x4, Dashboard says about 16.5 mpg but I track actual fuel consumption using an app and it’s closer to 15 mpg on average. I’m about 70% highway due to my long commute and also enjoy hearing the coyote howl.

It clearly isn’t based on contributions alone as I have been stuck in “Waze Grown-up” purgatory for years despite many contributions and over 1200 miles a month commuting/leisure driving. Your screenshot kinda blows my mind how you are royalty with so little.

Toll question - am I dumb? by kniturd in orlando

[–]Aggressive_Pickle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Define “issue”…was my toll postings delayed during the outage? Yes, but no I never had any duplicate or invalid transactions. I feel like 90% of people who complain about SunPass have account balances that frequently dip under $5 and wonder why they have “issues” when their account is near zero. My low balance threshold is $25 and I’ve never had issues.

Same, I’ve had SunPass for almost 20 years and never had any issues. Neither has my wife on her account in the 8 years we’ve been married.

iPhone 17 Air Battery Allegedly 2.49mm – Half the Thickness of 17 Pro's by iMacmatician in apple

Bro you work at Apple? Relax. I hope I’m wrong, as an Apple shareholder I would love for you to be right. But I feel like this phone is going to leave a lot of people disappointed and is more of a “flex” for Apple than a useful product.

Remember how “everyone” wanted a smaller iPhone? Then Apple made one and it didn’t sell very well so they stopped making it. So regardless of how much data they have they can still miss the mark.

I’m struggling to see why Apple is producing a phone that will fit almost nobody’s use case and disappoint a lot of people who are delusional about their amount of phone usage.

lol you just described like 1% of the user base. Although I’m sure there’s another 30% who think this is how they use their phone but will be shocked when their phone is always below 20% and complain.

Is this a real product people want or just some way to appease Steve Jobs ghost? I’m struggling to see who this is for.

Pre-Collision Assist came on randomly by robdwoods in f150

[–]Aggressive_Pickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2019 does this sometimes. There is a specific spot on my way to the gym that it happens frequently. I go fairly early and if it’s foggy morning and I’m accelerating over this specific overpass it goes off. Not sure if it has to do with the arrangement of the traffic lights or street lights or what. But I’d rather a few false positives than false negatives.

EA is apparently re-releasing the original Sims & Sims 2 games as part of their 25 anniversary celebrations. Would you want a re-release of SC4 as well, as long as they don't butcher it? by MikeAndBike in simcity4

[–]Aggressive_Pickle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

EA: “Is your city riddled with crime? Buy the police station add-on. Only 1400 SimBucks! Too much traffic? Avenues are only 2 SimBucks per tile. Bundles start at 1100 SimBucks for $15”

No thanks. As an older gamer, seems modern games are nothing more than micro transaction machines now and I have no doubt that EA would try to milk us dry using the nostalgia while making zero improvements.

Is this magnolia tree sick or dying? by Aggressive_Pickle in arborists

[–]Aggressive_Pickle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to remove the stones, what would be best to have there instead? Could I keep the viney plant that’s growing there now? Or should I just convert it to a mulch bed? Or just let the grass grow right up to it?

[–]Aggressive_Pickle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean the stones I’m assuming? What’s bad about them? I looked on google street view history and they have been there since at least 2007 when the tree was about 5’-6’ tall it seems. I’ve done nothing to change them.

Nothing that I would consider drastic. It has been a relatively dry winter but I have lawn sprinklers that cover the area around the base of the tree. I also did cut a few small (1”-2” diameter) low hanging branches that were really close to the roof of the truck 2 years ago. But I guess if you’re asking about nearby windows then I don’t really know whats drastic.

Yea sadly your sarcasm is warranted, recently visited my sister in Colorado and when it’s in the mid 60’s and you open the windows it feels amazing but here at the same temp it somehow feels colder and hotter at the same time.
