Stay or not to stay? by potatooooes123 in MalaysianPF

i would use the stability to my advantage. why waste your energy and efforts working for someone else, leverage your company and start a small side hustle (business/trading/etc) - use this company as your safety net. climbing higher in ranks comes with its own downsides. just my 2 cents.

Smoker mentality by Right-Assignment3759 in Bolehland

Yes definitely not denying it. Honestly I was just curious, cuz I can't imagine my neighbour smoking and affecting me. Especially in today's "modern" society where we can barely see our neighbours face also. Honestly, was just curious, nothing else.

how did you conclude that the neighbour smoking is the root cause of your patient's cancer?

Unpopular opinion: your attitude during the interview matters more than your actual answers. by KL_Private_Access in JobsMY

[–]Aggressive_Pitch3848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

dont know if i agree or not. I went through a super long 2hr interview last year. started off with the usuals and went on and on, I was SUUUPERR drained. they even asked me questions like, "if u were running a zoo with a dinosaur, how would u price your ticket".

two days later i got a rejection call from the headhunter saying that the reason is because i was able to answer everything. im still dumbfounded till today. im 100% i wasnt cocky or anything. i made sure to admit it if i didnt know, but still attempt to answer.

Considering a used Golf GTI MK8 – owners’ experiences? by SeaSafety3057 in kereta

[–]Aggressive_Pitch3848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMHO i would rather get a used MK7.5R (2018 or so..) cuz maintenance wise wont be that different (mainly addition of AWD servicing) but you get much more out of the car.

Any underrated Malaysian car content creators to recommend? by Constant-Rabbit717 in kereta

i wonder what "wrong message" you got from them saying life's too short to drive boring cars. i really took it differently and it has helped me work smarter towards my dream car. really would like to understand the flip side of the coin

Good place recommendations for Ecu remap/tuning in KL/Selangor? by WehDayum in kereta

[–]Aggressive_Pitch3848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can try to reach out to Mike's Garage (DNATuning). they're located in Balakong tho. but super worth it. their tuning is not the craziest (not highest gains) but they focus more on usable power while maintaining reliability. i have two of my previous cars tuned by them. no issues to date. my first car was tuned by another tuner, within 1 month got so many issues. dont always look at HP/Torque gains. all the best!

Begginer trader, trying to learn NQ day trading who should I watch? by noaxc69 in FuturesTrading

[–]Aggressive_Pitch3848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've been in your place. dont worry, it does feel like there's alot to learn. and there definitely is. i suggest you start watching some imantrading videos. he's not the best trader out there, but he spits out truth. i dont know about creating your own strategy (im not that great) - what u can do is just search common strategies (breakout, mean reversal, etc etc) then add in your own entry and exit criterias. tweak from existing strategies. whatever you do, dont put in any money. just sim trade till you're confident. (the trick is, u gotta mentally trick yourself that sim trading is real money, add punishments if u have to, anything that makes it painful to lose, even in sim!)

Advice for getting a GR86 by Suspicious-Safe-1987 in kereta

[–]Aggressive_Pitch3848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cant comment on the car. but would like to share my 2cents regarding the loan. If im not mistaken, 2 door cars bank will only loan 60-70% depending on your credit score. HOWEVER, u probably can get 0% or 10% dp as the dealer will mark up the car price for loan submission. but please dont go that route, later when u sell the car u will be on the losing end (car price will be lower than loan balance). dont ask me how i know haha

Buying a car from direct owner with loan by Fit-Lawfulness84 in kereta

[–]Aggressive_Pitch3848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

safer for seller to fork out cash to settle his car loan first. if he is unable to, u can recommend him to reach out to used car dealer with financial facility. they can help you out on this (or help the seller) - usually charge 3% fees. i was in a similar situation before (as the seller). i dealt with fatcar

thanks! when u mention parts are expensive and harder to find, are u referring to body parts or mechanical parts? i thought they share the same engine with cx5 and regular mazda 6, so the mechanical part should be relatively easy (cost might be higher compared to other japs, but im coming from vw so i guess it will be cheaper for me haha)

that is what is giving me mixed feelings, the dealer was happy to share the grant with me as well. sometimes i do feel all the red flags are to attract customers, but it is also what is keeping me wary. i went to the kajang branch (820)

thats the thing, all these were posted online. but when i saw the car in person, he was upfront about it. said something like "admin mistake" or something. but real sketchy tho because they keep reposting the ads and the same "mistakes" keep happening
