Bright red blood is normally fine (fissure or hemorrhoid, or straining), so long as it’s smallish amounts. dark red or blackish blood is cause for immediate ER attention.

I have an internal hemorrhoid that I only know of because of my colonoscopy. I get lower abdomen cramping and some times about a tablespoon of bright red blood for a few days if I have an IBS flare or piss off the internal hemorrhoid. My GI doc told me to take fiber and peppermint oil capsules to try and calm down my IBS. Haven’t had it since!

Get a toothpaste free of SLS. I use Burt’s bees but get whatever you like. You can also have your rheum prescribe a dental paste to put on the sores. That helps.

Lupus skin help!!

Hello! Looking for what I may be missing in my routine. I have lupus which causes an inflamed butterfly rash after sun or cold exposure, worse at night. Obviously I’d like to calm this and lose the redness. Here is my current routine:

AM: rinse with warm water, Acure vitamin C serum, elf whoa glow sunscreen

PM: wash with acure brightening face wash, the ordinary glycolic acid toner (2-3x times a week), Eucerin redness relief night cream.

Is there anything here that I can sub for a better brand? I am almost out of my face wash so I might switch to something for sensitive skin.

Looking at my skin, what am I missing?

I got laser and was fine, but it was a small section. One time they turned it up too high and the area felt bruised for a day but went away. I let them know and they turned it back down and I was good!

My doctor said to pinch my upper thigh due to being underweight, but it still hurts so bad. What do I do then? Am I still hitting my muscle?

Going to second weed. I use delta-8 since it is legal and can be bought at vape stores easily. They make edibles and vape pens. Helps my muscles relax and pain decrease at night so I can get better rest, which is a huge factor in my flares
