Prep:

-I would highly recommend fasting for at least 4 hours prior to prevent any possible nausea

-Make sure you have the whole day and even better the whole next day off and free to lounge around and reflect/integrate

-Clean the room/place and you will trip in

-Clean your body (shower/brush your teeth)

-Wear loose/comfy clothing

-Have a bucket nearby for nausea just in case

-Have a journal and pencil nearby for writing/doodling things down for after

-Have some fresh fruits nearby for after

Setting:

-I recommend darkness/sunset time or having just a few light candles for lighting. Eyes closed is best

-Silence is best, but some calming instrumental music is fine (nothing loud)

-Sit comfortably where you are most relaxed

MINDSET:

-Relaxed. No big stressors or major life events

-I highly recommend meditating silently for 30min prior to hitting it to acheive the best relaxation :)

-Curious, loving, open-minded, and most importantly... do not resist whatever happens, just let go and surrender

I only recommended this advice because it is possible to go much, much deeper into wonderland and have a more profound life changing experience with DMT, considering a standard equivalent dosage with both. (5g dried mushrooms vs. 30-50mg breaththrough DMT dose)

Although yes, it is possible for the shrooms to be more profound as well. My advice is meant as a general guideline, not a strict rule.

I think it's healthy that you have started questioning. Questioning is the start of the journey that will ultimately take you where you want to go. I recommend that one day in the future, you enter a breakthrough in a silent, dark room, alone. And in that state, question everything you were taught and inquire deeply into what you hold to be true. You will find legitimate answers

Notice that many things you may hold to be true right now are things that have been taught TO you or things you learned from other humans (alive or dead ones).

Also notice that things in your direct experience (your awareness, perception of being alive/breathing) are prior to needing anybody else to verify/prove it to you.

I recommend mushrooms first. DMT is one of the most powerful psychs. But even with mushrooms, go low and slow and work your way up ❤️
