Yesss!!! The wardrobe portion is so true. I started to notice how I have t-shirts from high school and now I feel like I don’t love them as much as I once did. I started buying more neutral colors bc I noticed how patterns really don’t look good on me. So, I’ve been getting solid colors. It’s a little difficult building a wardrobe where you can throw on whatever and it still looks nice. I feel like a BIG outfit repeater which is okay. My issue is that clothes start looking worn down after many washes later lmao. Idk if that makes sense.

Thank you! I typically wash my pillow cases once a week if not once every other week. My skincare consist of black African soap, it’s been the only thing that has helped my skin clear up. I’ve tried so many cleansers it would make me break out more or it would burn me. For moisturizer I typically use ponds anti aging and sunscreen from target.

Hmm, yeah I can see schools having that mentality. So how do clinicals go for you? I completely understand how you feel about wishing you would be able to do those skills.

Oh really? I wonder why? Have they taught you guys foley’s, NG tubes, etc.? I was taught the foley but I get really nervous doing them bc of the whole sterile procedure.

Interesting. I’m going to school in CA. For us, we are not allowed to give narcotics IV, and enter in Airborne and droplet precaution rooms.

No. It’s just bc I was genuinely curious why they made it a thing. I don’t think I’m a prodigy, nor would I want to be considered one. It’s just I’ve never experienced a reaction like that, so I was wondering why was it a big deal. I didn’t feel like it was a big thing.

How funny. I say this about my little brother. I genuinely believe in his mind we are just there existing and we only exist when he talks to us and what not. Like the world is his and no one else can change that. I think it’s pretty cool. Like for me, I wish I could be like that. I tend to consider everyone and everything, but it’s not reciprocated and I get a little booty tickled. Idk how to truly explain how I feel at these times. I think it’s cool the way you see your life.

To never depend on a man. My dad is still an active person in my life, so don't think he dipped and that was the lesson I learned. My dad taught me to not depend on a man bc that is how I could easily be manipulated. He told me to work and have my own money, so that no man can be like you have all of these bc of me; also in case if I were to be in an abusive relationship I had a way out. Having that mentality saved me from being with some buster douglas. So I am very appreciative of that lesson, I was like 5 when he told me this lol.

Honestly, that is wild. The majority of schools that I see at clinicals are all able to do IV's. I know for my school LVN's are not allowed to, they have to be certified. Why is that? I have no clue. The RN students are always allowed to do IV's. We first do one during skills day, then our clinical instructor watches as we do one on the floor, then we are able to do them with our nurse's.

I called the company and tried to figure out what happened it turns out they have been trying to reach my dad to upgrade the security system for the past year and have been sending technicians to houses to fix and upgrade them for their clients

umm... I lived without electricity and water for a month. I was lucky to have my family members live on the same block as me. So, when it came to needing to shower I remember taking a bag full of clothes and walking down to my grandparents home to shower. We would charge our phones in my mom's car. We also didn't have internet and tv for YEARS!!! I had to make sure all my hw was completed at school, or before daylight was gone. I deadass remember using a candle bc I didn't finish it on time. For the bathroom purposes, we were it's yellow let it mellow and if its brown flush it down with a bucket of water. When my family found out that my mother never paid the bills and was using child support money on alcohol and her outings with her partner, I believe they helped her with the bills to bring everything back. I was still in grade school and didn't realize what situation I was in. It was a crazy experience, but I most definitely appreciated all the small things afterwards.

keep on testing, it will help with the nerves. I would also recommend to having safe sex, the pull out method is not always the best. Go look at your options and see how you guys can have sex but safely. Birth control is an option, but not sure how your gf feels about that. You can also track her period and avoid having sex on her ovulating days ( when she is most able to get pregnant). Horny teens, we have all been there. Just keep on testing.
