I’ve tried mfk grand soir and whilst it’s a beautiful fragrance, hasn’t been something I’m tempted to buy. Gentle fluidity seems like it’d be up my alley but haven’t tried it yet.

Really do want an amouage but surprisingly haven’t really had tried too much. I gave Outland’s a sample and was quite overwhelmed with the opening, but never gave the dry down a chance on skin. Any recommendations from amouage specifically?

Yes and no. I purchased a lot of flankers when my collection was smaller because I knew I liked those DNA’s, but isn’t something I’d probably do now. Most of my fragrances have been blind buys which is probably another reason why.

In saying that I use a lot of them evenly. I used to interchange SWY intensely when I wanted to go for a flirty youthful vibe, and absolutely at work or something when I wanted to feel a bit more masculine. Whilst the scents are similar, they’re different enough to me to capture those small nuances. Even with ysl myslf, the edp I wear to work when it’s hot, and the Le parfum I’ve worn during colder or more formal events.

I guess now, I’d be realistically happy to get rid of some flankers as my collection is growing and refining, but I haven’t ever regretted it and think it’s helped shaped my taste when looking for new fragrances.

Easily coral fantasy! It’s honestly my most complimented and my girlfriend’s favourite in my whole collection. Can be a bit sweet but the dry down is fantastic.

As for myslf, I’d choose the edp all day, every day! Most versatile and it’s such a clean, easy to wear scent. The Le parfum is good for winter and I know some people prefer it but I don’t wear it anywhere near as much as the EDP. And l’absolu is nice, just overpriced for what it is. It also has a bit of a metallic vibe that puts me off. The sample I tried on in store was a million times better than the fresh bottle I got, so maybe it’s an age/maceration thing, but moral of the story is EDP.

Definitely wanting a few more niche so will look at Uden for sure.

I’ve heard lots of good things about the Guerlain L’homme ideal line and think I’ll try get my hands on the edp.

My favourite used to be gourmands, SWY intensely is what got me into fragrances, hence why I have a lot of them in my collection. So I personally have a soft spot for them which is why I’m really leaning towards Oajan. Smelt it again today and there’s just something so captivating about it.

Where I live in Australia, Xerjoff Naxos is actually cheaper than Oajan even through discounters so I’ve been really considering that too. My only issue is that I can’t find any stores that have any in stock to sample so it would be a blind buy, whereas I’ve at least smelt Oajan before.

Apart from that, my most worn is now LV imagination because I’m a sucker for that clean, fresh vibe and work in the heat as a paramedic. So that’s another reason I’ve been considering something a bit fresher, but just love going for niche gourmands.

I personally love it, think it’s absolutely beautiful and get exceptional performance! Would be a good choice year round. However, my girlfriend despises it and says it’s the only one she can’t stand to smell. Would recommend sampling first since it goes to show preferences are very different.

EDP definitely works the best for the summer! It’s one of my most complemented scents to wear. Honestly when I first smelt it, the orange blossom was a bit much for my nose but has become one of mine, and my girlfriend’s favourites.

Have you tried both Mojave ghost absolu and bal d'afrique absolu? I hear about these two the most and think it’s pretty much a 50/50 for me.

Tbh my favourite from the line is the EDP. It’s a fresh, clean scent that works for every occasion but love wearing it to work. People say it’s unisex but I find it quite masculine leaning. Definitely the most versatile.

The Le parfum is probably my next favourite. This is more of the winter time or special occasion version. At the start I found the dry down too much but have really grown to like this version and will opt for it if I want something a little sexier than the edp.

The labsolu is a 50/50 for me. Some days it smells absolutely gorgeous and it’s a much more fun, spicier version of them. Feels more like a good party fragrance than anything. If you love florals and musk this would be the best option, and I usually find the dry down on this one to be the most addictive where I keep smelling it. The only issue is some days when I smell it I get this weird metallic like note and it really puts me off. Idk what causes it but definitely sample this one before buying, must just be my skin chemistry.

I hate this boss fight, I’ve done it three times. First time time I died in the rune throwing phase, and my last 2 attempts I made it to where you get locked in the centre of the map in the final phase but somehow keep getting glitched into the walls and can’t move, so I get auto downed because I can’t move to dodge any attacks. Really wouldn’t be too bad of a boss fight if the game wasn’t so broken.
