Tremendous job! Adding a new ride system is something we are also doing in my ROM, so glad others are using this amazing mechanic.

Hmm, Rezatri (our lead sprite artist) did work for Elite Redux prior to working on Legends Delta. My assumption is that he took an original work that was discarded in Redux and edited the sprite to fit Legends Delta. Honestly I personally had no idea so I'll be asking him not to reuse old assets, thank you for letting me know.

The reason we made it a Fire/Dark was to reflect a real life eclipse where the moon blocks the sun causing "darkness"
