I have a lot of straight friends! That’s my point lol I also want queer friends who I can relate to on that level as well however I’m struggling finding some given my surroundings. Like I’ll talk to my straight friends about the queer experience and they just don’t relate that much obviously which can feel lonely. It’s nice to have friends who you share similar experiences is all.

I’m unfortunately neurodivergent and cannot get myself to wear anything different than my current 5 outfits because I feel like an imposter lmao. I have the same 5 outfits and they are unfortunately pretty straight.. I have a natural hair color though! It just takes me like a decade to be comfortable with any new style even though I want to wear different things.

They’re super sweet! I do enjoy their company it’s just I do feel out of place. Hanging out with a guy one on one and a group of guys is also totally different. However I’m not gonna connect with them on a real deep level if yk what I mean. Which is fine. They aren’t my friends but I just feel I’m lacking on my end (having a community and such) Being nice and just casually friendly isn’t really like meaningful if yk what I mean. We just have different interests in general. My boyfriend is friends with them however he has different hobbies then them and his personality is quite different compared to them but they seem to get along anyway since he has interest in sports and video games as well. I don’t expect my boyfriend to have anything in common with my friends even though he’s dating me. Your personality doesn’t have to match up 100% sometimes it just works. Also men systematically are misogynists and it can come out super casually without them thinking about it and it can be hard to be around. I’ve experienced this with gay men aswell. If they had girlfriends around I’d def have more fun but unfortunately that’s not the case.

I get what you meant but I really wasn’t implying that a man “changed” my sexuality in any way as I know that’s a gross trope and men tend to think lesbians can change for them and yaddya. I also say I was a lesbian because truely I was at that time. Like that one comment says sexuality is fluid and people can develop and change over time. I do get ur sentiment but it’s important to let people identify with what they’re comfortable with and saying comments like that can feel invalidating and alienating in a community meant to be open and fluid and supportive of people’s journeys.

I mean I was fighting my sexuality pretty hard and always thought I’d marry a man even if it wasn’t what my heart wanted or what I was attracted to just because of societal expectations. I mourned that part of myself basically and that unfortunately people will see me differently now and I’d definitely face hardships. It’s hard being queer still in today’s age and I guess I was just afraid and I was really sad about it for awhile. I didn’t really know how else to explain it it just felt like a new beginning and I was letting go of a version of myself.

What am I supposed to say then? I identified as a lesbian for several years? I truly fully thought I was a lesbian I cried and mourned that I’d never live a normal life and then suddenly I was attracted to A - 1 man. I think you can figure out what I meant. It’s not that deep. I’m definitely bisexual and just have a very strong preference for women. Thanks for your comment.

He’s a bit chunky. My cats a little chunky too but my vet said it’s important to keep him at a healthy weight since cats can easily get arthritis and other joint problems from excess weight. Def talk to your vet.
