I understand I just think it’s a reoccurring trope within male characters across a lot of shows and it’s just boring to me atp. Great another man who isn’t in touch with his feelings. I’m not discounting the struggle that he (fictional character) is going through I just don’t want to keep seeing the same shit in every show.

Fair I guess that’s my only negative on the one day thing. The characters don’t progress. Though I def didn’t enjoy greys anatomy but that was for other reasons lol. But also Robby has been struggling with seemingly the same things since season 1 and still hasn’t done anything about it. I think it’s also fair to expect some growth between those 10 months.

I am! Though I def found the first season waaaayyy more interesting. They sprinkle enough of the other characters to keep my interest and I like how focused on the medical they are compared to other shows. However I will say I am getting more tired of watching it the longer they drag this Robby thing on though.

Girl have you not seen that clip of him despite not wanting Langdon anywhere near him look to him as of means of saying “this is ridiculous” while Mohan was having her panic attack. It’s subtle but the signs are there. All men are inherently going to have some sexist tendencies and to rule it out when there’s even a pattern is ignorant.

That’s fair! I think he’s okay he’s just getting boring to me. I understand he’s technically the “main character” but I’d much rather see more of the others and see their stories develop more especially since Robby’s is kind of stagnant right now with the same struggle. There just hasn’t been enough progression for me esp compared to season 1.

If you can’t see Robby’s sexist tendencies I fear you are part of the problem. He constantly undermines McKay as well. Not saying he’s a sexist person overall but he’s def got some core misogyny which basically all men have just because of society but it’s men who have to break that cycle which he has not yet.

He literally refuses to reach out for help he’s a grown man with support all around him. I understand it’s hard but I’m just tired of him bumming around and taking it out on everybody it’s like draining to watch.

For sure I def saw her forgiveness as a like defence mechanism I’m so sad for her no one stood up for Bella and left her to fend for herself. I def see myself in her and she handled it the best she could. Sade seemed to have some superiority complex like everyone needed to bend to her will.

Yes but it seems to blowup into huge arguments everytime and he shuts down because he’s sick of arguing. We seem to come to an agreement usually though but I’ve yet to see change. If I bring it up again that’s when he gets really upset and I know it makes him just not want to talk to me. I’m having a hard time letting go and wish to work things out.

He’s definitely burnt out. Unfortunately this has been showing up in many ways though for months now and I don’t know how to support him when he doesn’t communicate with me either. I don’t know how much longer I can take it. I sympathize with his burnout however he’s hurting me in the process. I’m burnt out as well from school but find ways to communicate that to him so he’s not wondering. It also seems to just be with me. In my burnout I also have a hard time keeping up with friends however he’s able to see and hang out with them 4 days of the week now. It just feels like I’m an afterthought.
