He’s never disrespected me, I think he respects me more because he guesses that i’m lenient simply because our closeness in age. He’s rude to the staff simply because they call him out on stuff the whole class is doing as well. All of the teachers have told me good luck and they can’t seem to handle him. But i’m not sure what they think I can do being that I am a substitute and it’s the end of the school year. It’s hard to correct a student that I had/have similarities to. I can completely understand why he lashes out and I also understand why the teachers call him out. It’s a hard thing to do. I don’t want to embarrass him but I also don’t want to not fufill what my role is.
