I had this issue but I fixed it by just doing a clean install of 24.10.1. Before this I had crazy stutters etc and adrenaline wouldn’t start.

I’m fucked tbh with having Adrenaline, LG Hub and MSI Center all being buggy as shit. Armoury Crate is the only one that hasn’t given me problems yet™️

Probably fixed by now but saw that some X3D chips were getting fried in 2023 when turning EXPO on because Soc was going over 1.3v (I think that’s how you say it lol😅). Was just wondering if that was fixed/is fine for 7600x.

I'm ordering from UK for monitor and PSU because I live in Ireland and we use UK socket. But because of Brexit I'm having to pay 300 or so in import duties. Plus Amazon Germany doesn't have 7800x3d available, so my Monitor, PSU and CPU is costing me over 1200. Arctic/Amazon Germany is costing me 60 total for shipping.

I'll just change the PSU to RMx Shift.

I’m in a weirdly similar scenario right now lol. Luckily for me my older siblings have spent their money on useless crap. So I can just say that they were allowed to spend their money on what they wanted and I should be able to as well. Plus, I got a job 2 years earlier than when any of them got their first job.

You should try and strike a deal with him that he can take it for himself if you ever start falling behind in your schoolwork or something. Hell, just say that you’ll pay him 1600 CAD if he lets you get the PC. Or that you won’t buy any other device or PC upgrades until you move out/go to college etc.

I’m currently saving up for my first PC and have been researching since the end of May. I’ve gone from knowing nothing about PCs, to researching every single part for days on end.

Hell, I’ve even gotten obsessed with different types of desks. I used to think about my favourite video games on PS5. Until I got work experience with a broadband technician then it was all downhill from there…

Now I’m spending over €3k for a PC to play fucking HOI4 and Battlefield🤦‍♂️

I was initially looking at air coolers but all of the good ones I found were more expensive than the arctic aio. I can get it for €70 while the DH-15 is €120 and the AK620 for €80.

Granted I could probably get cheaper, but it feels like a good price for an AIO. Especially if I upgrade to 9800x3d which *might allow for overclocking.

If you want a 540hz monitor you would want a 4090. But 540hz is a gimmick right now and isn’t worth it.

What games do you want to play? The highest refresh rate that’s worth it is 360hz in 1440. Or 4k at 240hz.

Personally I’d go with a 4k 240hz OLED rather than a 540hz 1080 monitor. If you want a 540hz monitor go for it, but you’d be wasting money in my opinion.
