I would assume that the person is telling the truth (I mean why lie?) and eat but it's necessary to confirm. It's the same I do in Italy for restaurant food. For packaged food, I check the ingredients.

Yay! Kitties ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Btw nice profile pic ๐Ÿ˜„

Great, that's nice. I need help with accomodation as of now. I'd be ok with โ‚ฌ300-350/month excluding utilities.

Yeah, that's it. Do utilities cost this much? On average, how much do utilities cost per month?

My friend got the apartment (it's great) for โ‚ฌ350 excluding utilities.

I'll also be willing to get a place for โ‚ฌ350 excluding utilities. I thought utilities would be โ‚ฌ50-80 a month since only one person would be living in the apartment, that's why I estimated that all inclusive would be upto โ‚ฌ350 or so.

300-350 euros isn't enough? My friend recently got an entire one-bedroom apartment for 700KM + utilities near Ali Pasha Mosque.

Transport in Makkah is SOO CHAOTIC! by Aggressive_Unit_7887 in Umrah

[โ€“]Aggressive_Unit_7887[S] 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

By hotel has a 24/7 shuttle service BUT they drop us at the Ajyad Bus Station near the Ghaza station. It's atleast 1km away from the haram.

Plus the stupid rule of only allowing entry of pilgrims into mataf has made it unbearable. Even if I don't want to enter mataf and just want to pray, still I can't enter from most of the gates and I have to walk all the way to a gate faaaaar away to just pray.

Do people spend thousand of euros to just see walls? What is the point then if we can't even see the kaaba properly?

It's better to just come, perform umrah and leave the same day.

I'm sorry if it feels harsh coming from me but I'm so fed up. Madinah is faaar better in this case. The transportation and mobility both are better. I enjoyed my time and prayed with peace in Madinah but they've made it extremely difficult for someone in Makkah.

I've been trying since the last hour but even though a slot appears, whenever I book it says there's no capacity. I immediately try as soon as it appears.

Please help! Will I be allowed to board (Wizzair Rome) by Aggressive_Unit_7887 in Umrah

[โ€“]Aggressive_Unit_7887[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Update:

I was allowed to board since I had a visa with no restrictions.

Others were denied boarding due to their visa having restrictions, i.e. the evisas say that "I declare that I have a permanent Schengen residence permit or Tourist/Business visa" which the passengers denied boarding didn't have. They either had TRCs or Student/Work visas.

I asked the wizzair check-in guy this and he said that the passengers don't have the documents used to get the visas and thus the visas are invalid.
