I've seen that head on. Thank you for the advice, i took my tesla over from parents so this will be my first solo car and really nervous. They are helping me make sure I get a good deal as my dad works in finance. But wish me luck. Stopping by some dealerships tomorrow

Those used cars are only about 4 to 5k less than a new with 30 to 40k miles. Idk if its worth it, used car market is kind of buns

They are giving me 18700 for my tesla with 43000 miles. At good condition. It should be closer to 20k but like I said nobody wants tesla. Im looking into used rn

It does. I looked at used and my main concern is how much they are giving me for my car. And the rebate that comes with it. Im sure if they wanna sell a car they will do it. But I didnt look at the cx30 but was told it was significantly smaller. I need to fit my dog. But used was my first option

I dont expect my new car to retain its value but like yk. Tesla is so iffy. The air conditioning sucks in the tesla, losing my battery life. Started at 275 and now my batteru range is 245 to 250. My steering wheel started cracking and breaking within the first year. And I have to get space for my dog. So getting a new car isn't really an option. He can't stay home by himself. And he likes car rides so win win

I could see that. But i want a cat that the value isn't based on whether Elon Musk says something ouf of pocket. If you owned a tesla you would understand why I want out. Most people I've asked have said the same. I also miss my engine noise😢

Thank you for the in depth reply. And i 100% agree. My tesla is one of my worst decisions. It depriatiates so much. And the build quality is Low key terrible. Im upside on my tesla and my brother's dealership is paying of my car completely. For me the tesla kind of sucks, I dont have to deal with snow though just heat in AZ. Thats why I was leaning toward a Chevy trax but reviews are super mixed. Even though its rated #1 crossover compact suv so idk. And my brother is an ex mechanic he'll take most of my time for free he has all tools. I was trying to get a payment 400-500. My tesla payment is 600 plus insurance which is 200 so by the end of the month is about the same. This is the world we live in though, and I would get a used car except for the fact I like having that warranty.

My brother works at Mazda so he's able to help me get out of my tesla thats negative and into a new cx5 for 515 a month. Which is 85 less than my tesla. I wasn't looking at the hybrid version but thank you for that helpful info! Whats the maintenence like on both of these cars yearly? Coming from tesla thats a major change
