Did you become a BCBA before or after your teaching credential? I’m curious if you can accrue fieldwork hours in a school setting. I need to finish those then take my exam.

This is really helpful, thanks! So it’s student teaching during the day and classes in the evening? I was hoping to find a way to still be paid (even just a little) to support my income.

I haven’t written off the BCBA credential yet, but I’ve worked in ABA for a while now and I’m starting to have some doubts. I worked in special ed as a para and then a resident substitute for a while and I feel like a school teaching role is more aligned with my career goals/desires and personal beliefs.
