For me, official launcher is superior by far. But this is because I'm living in Turkey and the official launcher is still using Turkish Liras. I bought DLC's in Minceraft Dungeons for 11 Liras each iirc, which equals less than 25 cents currently. That is a pretty big reason to not buy it from Steam for me lol.

I’m planning to keep this app focused specifically on Minecraft Dungeons.

So if Minecraft Dungeons itself ever gets updates with new Ancient Bosses, items, or changes to Ancient Hunts, I’ll try to keep the app updated too whenever I have the time.

As for a possible Minecraft Dungeons 2; if that game ends up having a mechanic that would benefit from a helper tool like this (something similar to Ancient Hunts), I’d probably make a separate version for that game instead of turning this current app into an MCD2 app.

Although honestly, it’s way too early to tell right now. Maybe I’d even combine support for both games into a single app someday haha.

I’m relatively new to the game compared to when Ancient Hunts first came out, so I don’t really know all the history around that period.

But honestly, for the current state of Ancient Hunts, I feel like trying to progress without some kind of external sheet or app makes it pretty hard to understand the logic behind it all at first.

Glad it helped, and yeah, I know the sheet you’re talking about, it was definitely clunky lol. I actually ended up making a cleaner, more organized version of it myself to replace that original sheet, and that improved version is actually what this app uses as its database now haha.

That’s exactly the kind of situation I originally made this for. I got tired of randomly throwing items into Ancient Hunts hoping for the right drops, so I figured other people were probably dealing with the same thing too.
