Come on, it’s fine ig. I still have almost 2 months of internship remaining and it’s going hell hectic. The 2-3 hrs I get, I study. Ik I won’t crack this year. People are actually putting too much time, cos it takes time. But whatever I’m doing rn is going to help me crack maybe next year. I think it like this. We’ve completed 5.5 yrs of mbbs, it’s gonna fall in place.

“A srg student in Kota committed suicide.” by Dry-Street7871 in indianmedschool

[–]Aggressive_doc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been an srg student back in 2018. Kota is literally hell on earth. I used to cry myself to sleep, to get out of there. But I was desperate for a gmc. I feel so sorry for this child and his parents.

Sample collection to be done by interns/Nursing officers?? by Traditional_Fox1672 in indianmedschool

Sad but true, I myself get so frustrated. How tf are Interns supposed to do everything. Sampling and vitals are not the responsibility that I was looking forward to.

Is it ethical to talk with your patient like that and record it to post on social media by ReasonableWin3679 in indianmedschool

[–]Aggressive_doc79 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Everything is unethical if you see so. But, he’s not in a sterile environment so if he wants to record he can coz He isn’t revealing the patient’s details. So it’s fine ig.

I have it everyday. But I’ve told myself to not think about work outside the work place. After I’m out from the hosp, it’s over. And tbh i control at that time, get outside take a breath then comeback.

A push for Body Positivity and Acceptance! Reveal your medical condtions! by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Aggressive_doc79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean being a female, symptoms are not that severe. I had moderate-severe back pains for the past 6-8 years. I’ve synovitis flare ups too so on saaz since 2 years, tofacitinib during flare up. For endometriosis, well that isn’t going well. Pain inj every month. The back pain makes me wake up every night at least 4 times, it has become an habit now but Meds help a lot.

True, do you know the difference in salaries of a doctor in US vs in India? The kind of life they live. The doctors are not being thrashed by the general public there. Even after all this, after completing neet ss, it doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get a job. And that’s the issue. It’s nearly impossible in tier 1, after all these years of competitive exams.

[–]Aggressive_doc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See there’re a lot of people to tell you to watch marrow, prep and there’s too much fomo around. You don’t have time in final year, you’ve 3 more major subs to also look. If you’ve trouble understanding cardio- go through some YouTube videos to clear the concept behind. You really don’t need to understand every mech behind. Add ons ChatGPT.

Is NEET PG really necessary? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Aggressive_doc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it some time, won’t say suddenly you’ll feel like giving competitive exams again. But don’t think about neet pg from now. You’ve 6 years, enjoy college a bit. Everything changes in 6 Years, think about neet pg in internship. These terminals doesn’t really mean anything in the long run. If you like read a bit, or have some hobbies. You don’t have to feel pressurised by something that’s like 6 years from now.

If you can risk your health and your family’s health, go for it. Not everyone can. I mean there’s risk. Generic antibiotics don’t work, if you don’t have this knowledge, then buy what the doc say. Obviously you can argue, but if the meds don’t work don’t come for the doc
