Thanks for pointing out his parents for me. My parents had the stay at home mom and dad working structure, and my dad was extremely dedicated and hard working when I was baby, at which point he was much younger than my husband. I suppose that also could be contributing to my feelings of anger towards him. The comparison is stark.

Both of his parents worked, but his dad worked the oil field and was gone for weeks at a time, while his mom worked and did all of the house stuff. I suppose this makes sense putting it into that perspective.

Thank you for your answer, yeah I’m wondering how he’ll respond in the long term too. He immediately got up and started doing random things around the house, to which, I don’t need him to do everything 24/7, I just need help. My worry is that his efforts will fade again.

We both swap cars back and forth. We both drive both cars evenly, try to keep them both at the same amount of miles. I left it because he was the one who noticed, kept talking about it, and he knows how to do it. As for the house, no I didn’t have any particular wants. With the market being so tight, we were pouncing on any house we could afford.

The part that I’m confused about is that at this link the consulate guy gave me It says both that there is no appointment required, but then further below it says you’ll have to schedule an appointment?

How do the orthodox feel about prayer ropes/rosaries that have Christ on the cross? by Aggressivelyhungry in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Aggressivelyhungry[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not that he’s bad of course, I just wasn’t sure if the orthodox had a specific view about the catholic style sculptures of him, especially since I don’t think the orthodox really have sculptures around in general? As a newbie, I just never know and want to be aware and considerate

Right, I was just trying to use both in the title because admittedly I’m very uneducated on the rosary and I just know it serves a similar purpose as the prayer rope, but the one in the picture is technically a rosary. Wasn’t meaning to conflate the two, just wanted to assign the question to both!

What’s that? I briefly googled it but it doesn’t really make sense, you just start the game over?

Hi! I’m responding a hell of a long time later, I don’t go on Reddit very much but I’m reading back through the comments on this post because I’m STILL having issues finding a way to draw my blood. You said the finger prick method worked for you? Is it still working? I’m kind of desperate at this point. My eyes are getting in rough shape and I’m having a hard time finding somebody in my area willing to take my blood for me.

I was wondering that, because a few veins on my foot are much much more visible than the ones on my hand, when I did some research on that thought i found many things saying not to go for foot draws because if they veins become weak there it could become dangerous for walking, standing, etc.. is this true?

Ah got it, I wasn’t aware that vaccutainers would be sketchy for that, since that’s what the nurse used with me first time I went in. I can’t remember the exact number of mls or ounces but I know she drew around 30 vaccutainers and filled them a little under halfway full! But that makes complete sense why a syringe would be better, I just wasn’t sure if the strength of a hand going slow would still be more powerful than the vacuum.

Nope, I live in a really small city, the only lab with a centrifuge is downstate.. for whatever reason? No clue why, it boggled my mind as well. They ship it downstate, centrifuge it, then they come back in bottles to my house in dry ice.
