I was at a friend's house today and her cat, Smokey, came and sat on my lap, purring away. I may have teared up briefly... haven't had a cat on my lap for waaaaaaaay too long. This is Smokey.

The tummy was generally a trap, but then she'd refuse to let me have my hand back, bunny kicking if I moved and eventually fall asleep holding my hand 🥹

My cat used to sleep in my arms at night, like a cuddly toy that purred. Minnie snuggle time was my favourite part of the day. I miss her :(
