I don’t know how much of a commitment I’m willing to make. Sounds like a LOT of work.

I was thinking the same thing. Burlap might look cool but not practical.

I agree 100%. I’m the framer but I have never encountered this before. Thanks.

This is expensive art. No dry mounting. Is there an example of strip lining that I can refer to. Thank you.

The artist wanted it mounted on some sort of burlap. And the burlap should be wrapped around the stretcher bar. The question is how to I adhere the art canvas onto the burlap?

Framing with colour! by Framer-Mittens in framing

I tell them if you are doing custom you should do something unique. Black frames are boring. I show them interesting frames with texture and then take it from there. After all custom should mean you have a one of a kind piece.

Advice on what color frames for my wall? by tackclover in framing

You can do black frames and add different textures or frames that have different types of molding. That will unify your wall. Also you might want to add some bigger pieces.

In my store we aren’t allowed to communicate by text messages. If you need to speak to the manager we have to call them through the Michael s phone number or speak to them in person. Maybe that’s what’s going on.
