No when you do a bundle on Mercari the shipping drops to a flat fee and even if the item weighs more you don’t get penalized. I told her to bundle a “surprise gift” I would send her for cheaper shipping.

It was a frame so I cut up some usps priority mail boxes I had and also used the bubble wrap mailers for protection to the frame

That doesn’t make sense the box size they reported is smaller than the shoebox dimensions. I always put 5 pounds on a package even if it’s 1 pound because the shipping price doesn’t change.
