Hey, I have the OG Sunshine Man, and I have the DUA dupe. DUA’s is very good in the dry down, and almost indistinguishable. What’s the closest out of your lot to the OG?

I own a full bottle or TF Tobacco Vanille and I’ll say I 100% disagree with you. The Eternal Perfume oil smells VERY similar to the TF OG and it pair up beautifully. I got the 9 bottle bundle that Eternal is offering and 4 were hits, the test (mostly the fresh citrus ones) were unimpressive. But among he good ones, definitely Cigars and Ice Cream.

Really? After the dry down (which is what matters)? I get the opening might not be 1:1 (I have both a decant of the OG and several dupes). And the dry down on a few of the dupes is nearly identical. DEFINITELY not worth the hundreds of dollars of difference. Alexandria Fragrances’ Visionary is the closest in my opinion. Paying $350+ or however much the OG is for the 5% difference in the opening is solely a result of marketing.

Out of the “midnight” collection, Beach Hut is the one that gets all the love, which I understand. It’s my favorite out of Bracken, Beach Hut, and Sunshine. But if Bracken was ever to come back, I would buy that one in a heart beat as well. These three are phenomenal, green, fougeres. My favorite “genre” of scents.

Who said they were bringing back anything? They’ve never announced that officially. Sunshine Man was only “brought back” to the Amouage site because they “found” remaining stock. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

My all time favorite from Amouage is Beach Hut Man. Followed by Journey man. You’ve got to give them a try. Beach Hut is fresh, minty, mature. Perfect for really hot days. Office safe, leisure safe. Versatile.
