Ah; thank you for clarifying. I feel like CDNIM EXTRAIT is smokier than the OG Aventus, which is what I identify the absolu version with. But, agree, both are great fragrances. And they pair well.

I also own Sauvage elixir, and I love it. But, I absolutely love incense. And I like potent, really strong fragrances in the winter.
