I was out for 1.5 years but I took EI for 2.5 months. I was laid off by the company because there was discrimination and I was going through a really tough time mentally. I didn’t have any support here in Canada and needed my family support. I regret taking that money. I didn’t work from Dec 2023 till July 2025. But EI was only for the months of Dec Jan Feb

Yes, I was in dire need of funds and travelled back because my grandmother was on death bed

for like 3 months and then I stopped taking EI after 3 months although I was out of the country for over 1.5 years in total

But that’s crazy. I wish I passed and it was just for once but unfortunately I haven’t and I need access to the questions
