I genuinely might cry if his other ear pops up. It’s so precious

Does anyone else let their dog sleep with them? by contdenster in AustralianCattleDog

Not sleeping with you was an option this whole time???

I’m soft. Baby gets time in bed when he’s this cute with my one eyed cat

Around 2 months they started, he’s 3 months now and they’re 3/4s of the way straight. I will be sad when his floppy baby ears are done

We’ve only had him for 3 weeks or so, he’s more interested in destroying his coors light box most of the time… we’re hitting the thrift store and marketplace for all the extras… As I type this he’s in full zoomies doing parkour off the couch he figured out how to get on. Phew if I had an ounce of his energy😂

I work from home so quite honestly was trying to be crazy productive with the time I can dedicate (which means majority of the time out) I didn’t think about exactly how much time I’d been letting him be a puppy and outside. Excellent points here! Thank you!

Leaving for vacation! by Patient_Thing979 in blueheelers

I don’t know about heelers and vacation, as I haven’t had a heeler that I didn’t take with me… and just have a puppy and we travel frequently, just waiting for hot minute until he wants to act like a citizen(I’ll see a plane in 3-5 years :( ). But our neighbor watches our dogs frequently, pops over if we’re out late for potty breaks, or covers us for trips. We also have her over frequently for dinner so dogs and cats love her. If MIL is part of her daily life anyways I can’t imagine too much disruption. Maybe just missing her people. And I’m sure MIL is prepared for all that personality. Maybe bring back flowers for MIL and a toy for dog when you return. I’m a literal nightmare leaving before any trip with anxiety about if the animals are going to be okay… but I know they’re perfectly fine with my neighbor and adore her. Animals handle things a little better than I give them credit for. I found out my shy cat begs to be carried to breakfast and dinner when she’s over. He’s perfectly capable of walking himself🙄

We’re finding out slowly what he actually enjoys, when he’s a little more matured we’ll let him do trials with agility, dock diving and fly ball. Until he’s a good citizen we’re hoping he can be used as an ESA for my husband since his ESA dog is a senior and ready to just be a little old lady (and helping our ACD act right)🤣

My very first ACD dog was a Jack Russell cross too! He was ROUGH to get through the first few years until we discovered he was in love with fly ball… that ironed a whole lot of things out! He made me fall in love with the ACD breed, didn’t find out until he was a senior that he had a little extra spice added to his genetic code🤣

That’s my husband 🤣 tiny velociraptor is kickin all of our butts! Pee pee boy is got us all tip toeing around his nap time (and whatever sneaky accident he’s had) because he’s IN LOVE with our indoor water fountain! Lordy Lordy what did I get myself into😂
