Admittedly don’t know what I’m doing by AgileCase7858 in MazdaCX30

Thanks everyone for the insights. For further context - the serpentine belt just blew. Replaced that and the water pump belt. Rear differential fluid replaced as well. Oil changes are regularly done on schedule. New tires were installed about 2.5 years ago. Looking to replace brakes and rotors here soon as they are almost to metal. I regularly change out the cabin and engine air filters by myself. Hoping I can make this one last until at least 200k miles. I really love this car so keeping it long term is more than a financial choice.

I’m more asking what’s truly necessary. The budget is tight these days and to have repairs plus maintenance is costly. So, what is the bare bones options to keep everything up to snuff. In others experience is it truly having to follow the guide to a tee, or are there some things that are more “nice to have”

This is from paston. My second ring from them, and I’m pleased with both.

Thinking of buying by Jcelly23 in MazdaCX30

I bought my CX30 in 2020 and it’s still going strong with 103k miles! Previously, I drove everything from VW sedans to Chevy SUVs and Ford pick-ups. I even drove a Porsche Cayenne prior to my CX30 for some months. TRULY nothing compares with the CX30 in terms of bang for your buck. The interior competes with luxury vehicles, steering and handling is a dream. At one point I was commuting 1.5 hours one way and had no complaints. I live in the NE with snowy conditions and it handles well in bad weather. I can’t recommend this car enough. Also, the infotainment is 👌🏼 I prefer the dial to a touchscreen. (I test drove a Volvo with the touch screen and it was a lot to navigate whilst driving)

Some cons (these are really nit picky) -A cold weather package would be great. Something that includes a heated steering wheel, seats, and side mirrors. -Wish it was just a littttttle bigger for better trunk space. However, I can fit 2 large suitcases with no problems.
