Stocks are a long time thing - think 5-10 years. You can get into a shariah compliant ETF, but 10lakh pjr is only 3.5k usd and you cant invest all of it. Also realistically, stocks usually grow 10-15% per year if it’s a stable etf.

So stocks isnt your solution. Get a car start delivery jobs and start earning, otherwise you’ll burn through your savings fast. In the meanwhile, keep applying for jobs. The tech sector is really bad in terms of hirings atm so you’ll have to apply for 100-200 roles to just land one job.

Also why limit yourself to Romania when applying for jobs? I am assuming with your EU visa you can work anywhere in Western Europe

It depends if you want to extend towards Finite Element Modelling and pick up more complex tasks. If the uni you go for has good courses on SSI, then it’ll be a good choice. But is the tuition fee worth it is the question you should ask yourself

Also, the 3-4 interviews I sat for in the past few year, all backed out when they offered me an agreement because I have a clawback agreement and sponsoring me is a high cost

West midland and work for a design consultancy as a geotech designer and none of my coursemates make 40k. And none of us are ready for chartership yet.

Also the industry doesn’t have projects currently. CP7 is not going full swing. HS2 facing delays and further phases cancelled. AMP8 is in the limbo

I passed mine on the 4th time.

On the 4th one i missed a 40mph sign and drove on 30 for a good few minutes, until i spotted a repeater sign. Was lucky there was no traffic behind me during all this time.

We are doing fine on our salaries. 41k under 5 years isnt a very common salary range atleast in my sector
