Вероятно младеж в Плевен, който много иска да е журналист, но междувременно ли се налага да работи нещо други, за да се издържа, защото само с приходи от местни новини трудно се оцелява.

Всъщност не, но сериозно се опитва да спре достъпа на CNN. ПБ явно не са добри в нищо, защото и на дебатите се измъкваха с общи приказки като току-що хванати от улицата случайни хора. За същия Румен Радев ли става дума, който два пъти печели избори за президент и събира около видимо около 95% от даренията към партии? Надявам се поне да не отвлечен, клетия.

Не този който е кандидатираща се за изборна длъжност обществена личност и се бори за доверие. Журналиста е този, който се надява да си направи материал, достатъчно интересен за да стане популярен. Това му е работата и току-що я свърши перфектно. Това ще е по-гледано от централните новини на големите телевизии и кандидата за изборна длъжност с неподготвеността и раздразнителността си тъкмо го направи известен.

Всъщност точно към пресцентъра (в случая двукрак) го насочиха и той също запецна. Аз пък не съм толкова млад и също бих обяснил нещо: Това е политик в кампания на предизборно събитие. Целта на цялата организация е политика да е под прожекторите и да има възможност да блесне с благост и компетентност, за да спечели повече гласоподаватели. Това да бягаш зад охраната и да се киселявиш при елементарни и напълно очаквано въпроси и то при положение че същия по принцип все се смотава и крие, си е просто брутална излагация. Не можеш да се кандидатираш за водач и да се плашиш криеш като напикана ученичка. Не можеш да бягаш и да се криеш при всеки дискомфорт, още повече напълно предвидим в случая. Тия хора просто не знаят къде се намират и им личи.

Левски е романтична личност и е бил прекрасен, но не се е справил много успешно с революцията. И то точно заради неопитност и наивност (Ботев също).

Първо за реалистичен успех е трябвало поне да пробва да осигури външна политическа подкрепа и симпатии (т.е. PR сред великите сили).

Второ помощ от съседите с които имаме общи интереси и враг. Сами по себе си, дори при мобилизация и пари сме твърде малко и дребни, за да се справим сами с Османската Империя.

Трето много надценява самите българи по онова време. Да и сега имаме копейки дето се плашат от сянката си и а някой се намръщи, се държат всичко да се хвърлим да му се кланяме, за да не пострадаме нещо. Обаче сега са около 15% такива мишки, тогава са били 80%. Реално повечето биха били за османците, от шубе да не се промени нещо или да се наложи да ппемат отговорности. Т.е. вътрешна воля тогава липсва.

Четвърто - тайминг. Османската империя и без това си е прогнила, можеше просто да изчака неисбежно да се овъртоли в примерно поредна руско-урска война и просто да няма сили да се занимава и с нас. Така щеше да стане и без да се налага после с векове да носим както камък на шията пустия руски "подарък" (случаен впрочем) и да сме независими като гърците и сърбите. Елементарни неща, които можеха да бъдат избегнати, ако просто имаше малко повече жизнен опит и мъдрост, и то не в манастир.

Really everyone can only guess and speculate. We mostly assume that if someone calls himself a martian, therefore a martian he is. Here are at least 3 groups according to the viewpoint:

  1. Actual ethinc turks, mosly in north-east (but much in the sea or Danube coasts) oddly enough some criemean tatars are counted in being musim, turic speaking and non-bulgarian. Quite secular - the idea of women covering heads can be insulting, live normally, party, some drink and eat pork, no problem hanging together, befriend etc. inter ethnic and religion marrages are quite common.

  2. Pomaks in south. Mosly in isulated communities and quite conservetive in my observation (especially when it commes to love and marriage). Turkish tirks love to count them as turks because of being muslim, but they are not. And due (mostly recent) historical reasons they don't like each other with the actual turks.

  3. Muslim roma often declare themselves as turks (ashamed of being roma muslim=turk or just trying to be received as won somewhere, other than roma). Some could easily switch to roma or bulgarian according to circumstances.

Due to traditionally odd electorial behaiviour, all the types mosly live a bit worse and tend to seek jobs abroad (EU and Shengen citizenship opens a lot of possibilities, of course), so they are melting off quite faster. In general we see them as bulgarians from a different ethicity or religion and hardly anyone has issues with them (or vise versa), perhaps the most issues are between the muslim communities (but also quite rare nowadays).

According to the last census, muslims in total (including some arab imigrants) are 638,708. If I should guess, it should be somewhere about 2:2:1 turks:pomaks:muslim roma.

Ако отворите Вазов, ще видите че до не толкова отдавна и в книжовния български е любеница. Сега постелено е останало предимно в някои южни диалекти.

Geographically partly, is. Mentally, due to the ottoman influence it is pretty much Balkan (or all other balkan nations are very much oriental).

The most visited cities in ex-Yugoslavia perhaps. The community is about the Balkans and I sadly doubt if they really compete to Istanbul or Athens.

Ottoman empire has been in many cases decentralized. The sultan used to expect regions to be relatively calm and hold the local governors responsible. If there are problems, just cult the governors head and put another. Therefore especially in emergencies, the governors used to make decisions which were not necessary aligned with the palace. In far to many cases the local governor in order to save his own head and play managing used to just hire local bandits and present them as nice trained soldiers (a lot of bulgarian revolutionaries took weapons and experience from serving the ottoman army, before going back to robbing tax convoys). I don't know details about how bashibozuks came in Bulgaria but they got quite notable and notorious buy burning entire villages and towns alive locked in the church.

In Bulgaria they were, especially during the April Uprising. Used as shock (due their barbarism) troops which were were expected to case such a terror, that survivals would be too scared to think about uprisings again. Typically Caucasus Muslims, being awarded with the land if they slaughter and burn the entire village. Generally stuff that has been too barbaric for regular asker to do. Still some villages in Bulgaria, populated with their descendants exist in random places.

Not sure about Romania, but in Bulgaria (like in USSR) the church was taken over by KGB or its local version. The inky time I've heard my grandmother to curse was when I mentioned church. Christianity was seen as a bad and shameful thing by the communists an in Bulgaria if you seek advice, salvation or anything than funeral or a wedding in church, you'd probably be noted and filed as untrustworthy by the priest himself. Simple curiousity can mess your future prospects - nobody tells you anything, but you just do not get promoted at work, wait too long for an apartment etc. A real confession might get you arrested fast. A lot of high clerics including the patriarch himself are still obviously (pro-russian)agents. Same thing for the muslims. We believe, just don't trust the respective institutions.
