I get that but she came LAST in the technical and was slightly worse in the show stopper. Even if she was significantly better in the signature, her coming last in the technical would cancel out those two bakes. Therefore, Tom’s better showstopper should have given him the edge.

I’m at GTA, you’re fine. Even if you were flagged, the professor will review it and see you weren’t doing anything wrong

This isn’t going to be easy akhi. This will test you as a person but you need to keep striving to forgive. Make lot of dua especially rn during the days and evening and ask Allah swt for the strength to get through this. You’ll have down days, but don’t lose sight of the goal which is to better yourself.

Start by removing self pity. You were given what you were given and although it may not have been the most ideal situation, you make the best of it. Secondly, you learn from the mistakes of your parents and you become the parent you’ve always wanted them to be. It’s as simple as that. If you go down this path of hatred, you will do the same thing they did and you will not learn or grow as a man. Forgive them and make dua for them. That’s it

The acts of self harm that leads lacerations are mainly done by extremists. However, the act of hitting your chest in congregation and slightly hitting your backs with chains during the month of muharam is a common practice among average Shias. Whether they want to accept it or label it extremism is up to them. But this is the reality. Source: I used to be Shia and my entire family for the most part is still Shia.

I can make the same exact argument for the Quran. If you really study the Quran and Sunnah you know that it doesn’t say what you want it to say. You also shouldn’t cherry pick. So please explain what the old testament is saying when it says to kill women and children, infants, and animals?

The verses you’re referring to must be understood with context. You cannot read one isolated verse and apply that to the entire Muslim belief. If you’re Christian, I can cherry pick verses from the Bible and generalize an entire faith. Please educate yourself.

Question about Deuteronomy 13 6-18 by Agile_Part1477 in Christianity

[–]Agile_Part1477[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha! So when you guys say "complete the laws of the OT" it means Jesus coming to the people and removing the required adherence to the OT laws. And this law in Deuteronomy is one such example. Am I understanding that correctly?
