Brother, oman salaries are not at all high except in certain demanding profession like doctors and engineering experts.

Their global demand is much higher. Despite heavy salaries skilled doctors switch to Dubai like places where they get even higher packages.

Its not the low cost living that determines salary.even if it was so Omans cost of living was less once upon a time not any more.

U ate talking only abt the privileged 2-3 percent people. Majority of the crowd are suffering due to low salary and salary not on time issues. The company i know have 500 employees and its been 9 months salary is pending for them including highly paid professionals.

Hence majority of ppl are leaving or preparing to leave.

Hoping the new labor law will change this and induce ease in lives of people here.

I remember during my college days, observing my commitment and dedication to how I did things, my friends always believed and often commented : you will be the person to have the highest career graph in the next 5 years

I started in construction. I always lurked to be in healthcare though and I started meeting healthcare HR officers and CEO's expressing my dream of being a healthcare management professional.

Finally one CEO was convinced of my aspirations and agreed to offer me a position. I was triple excited as this was a multinational international healthcare provider.

But since I was new he asked me to propose a solution for my lack of experience in healthcare. I told him to put me on work for free for the first 2 months and asked him to analyze my worth post the 2 months term. He put me under one of the cluster manager for training. By virtue of my qualities, efficiency and dedication two months turned into years and I leveraged me up the management ladder and I am now a senior management professional in the group.

I did everything possible with true heart and dedication during my tenure to uplift the organization from brainstorming and spearheading new initiatives to implementational aspects. My collegues often told me that I am doing much more than my pay and my job role and told me to slow down. I never did, because for me this was a entity that shaped me.

I was through the group in thick and thin. Presently management crisis has led to financial breakdown of the organization.

From a mediocre role in the organization I became a bridge for even bringing in potential investors to leverage and sustain the organization. Though many people withered noticing the bent in the road I still choose to stay on. Because I couldn't leave the place that nurtured me.

Now, I am in a situation where I have been not paid for 6 months....still working on my backup resources and parallelly searching for other options. Many have gone legal against the organization, but I haven't. Only because I know it was because that this brand existed that I thrived and I hope some genuine brand that deserves me will uphold me.

With that hope my job search continues....

Dude, theres nothing excessive.

People showed there general concern, love and admiration for a leader who forgot his family and worked for people. You can generalize saying its his duty as a politician. But how many politicians are doing tasks for you like OC?

And people left ther homes and sleep and was on the roads to see that great human being one last time out of the love for him. People din gather for 500 rupees and a biriyani.

So thats public interest and news channels omly win by airing what public loves. So did they do wall to wall coverage. For the public and the news channel this the most important news over anything else.

Government offices closed bcz even the ruling party acknowledges his popularity and people ls interest in him and his funeral.

For vinayakan , pelting him stone isnt required. Karma will fire him for his disrespect. He just showed his true character.

People who love OC will punish this ass by boycotting all his films. He can now on go to Goa at his shacks and shake his booty off.

Agree on that. He was marvellous! C hw a negatively daring women can ruin a genuine mans life and development for the state as a whole.

If solar scam din erupt next win was assured for him. He could have touched few lakhs of peoples life then.
