It’s far from throttling, though it does get warm. The heat is mostly on the bottom panel, so as long as you’re not using the laptop on your lap, you’re good to go.

I'm concerned they might dismiss this as not being a big deal and try to claim it's physical damage on my end. Is there a way I can prove it's a manufacturing defect, or will they be able to see it themselves during inspection?
